You can accomplish the operations described in the topic as follows:

As shown in the figure, open CAD drawing file, create layout, save and close AutoCAD software.

As shown in the figure, open the PPT document, switch to the Insert tab, click the Object button to open the Insert Object dialog box, click the Create from File option, enter the file name and path of the CAD drawing file to be inserted, and click the OK button to close the dialog box and insert the CAD drawing file.

Adjust the size and position of the inserted object, and the result is shown in the following figure.
