The shift lever of the whole vehicle moves back and forth, which is caused by the shift head swinging back and forth inside the transmission, and because of the lever ratio, that is, the shift lever will amplify the shift head's movement. Therefore, in order to eliminate gear shifting, it is necessary to optimize the transmission clearance of the internal gear shifting mechanism. The project team determined the potential factors affecting the transfer through principle analysis and listed the CTQ list.

The project team confirmed and analyzed the key factors by using tools such as gear box disassembly and tolerance analysis, and optimized the axial clearance of X gear according to the analysis results.

The optimal design object locked in the design stage is optimized, the nominal size of the main X tooth is adjusted by X mm, and the size of the spring hole is changed. Three gearboxes were installed and three boxes were installed for verification. The results of trial installation and verification show that the movement of shift lever meets the requirements.

20 vehicles were installed and verified in small batches. The verification results show that the shift lever movement meets the design requirements, the shift lever movement data should be tracked for a long time, and the drawings should be solidified.
