Jiangyan Hotel in Pudong New Area is the first boutique hotel in China in Pudong. The hotel is located in Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park with convenient transportation and beautiful environment. Jiangyan Hotel opened in 1992, and the boss is Wang Yishan. Boss Wang used to be a kitchen chef in a silk shop. Due to the complicated staff, the owner of the silk shop set aside the hotel and rented a room for Wang Yishan as a hotel room. After the hotel opened, Wang Yishan used his brains to make a unique snack-shortbread. This kind of cake tastes crisp and delicious, oily but not greasy, and is very popular with customers.
