At present, the school has become the largest seafarer training base in China, with the largest number of seafarers trained before the exam, and the passing rate of the port supervision examination is among the best. Seafarer training enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad.

The school has four undergraduate majors, eight undergraduate majors and seven specialist majors, and the tuition fee is about 7000-9000 yuan per academic year.
