It is a great honor to introduce some practices of vocational and technical colleges in the construction of civilized dormitories here, and also urge you to put forward suggestions for further improvement.

First, fully understanding the role of civilized dormitory construction is the premise of doing a good job.

Dormitory is the main residence for students to live and rest, an important place for students to learn culture and exchange ideas, an ideal space for cultivating students' social skills, a base for cultivating college students' good habits and a training camp for students' comprehensive quality. In order to improve teachers' and students' understanding of the construction of civilized dormitory, the college talks about the construction of civilized dormitory at the weekly counselor meeting, the counselor talks about the construction of civilized dormitory at each class meeting, and talks about the construction of civilized dormitory in the training of league schools and party schools. The construction of civilized dormitory is regarded as an important reference index for counselors' assessment, students' evaluation and joining the party. Inspired the enthusiasm of teachers and students to create civilized dormitories ideologically and institutionally.

Second, it is the key to do a good job to take measures such as regular guidance by counselors in the dormitory and regular cleaning.

Our college has attached great importance to dormitory management since its establishment, and the construction of civilized dormitory has always been an important part of our college's student work. In order to do a good job in dormitory management, we have taken the following measures:

1, adhere to the regular cleaning and regular inspection publicity system.

First, insist on cleaning the dormitory every Wednesday morning. As the person in charge of student affairs in the college, all counselors and I insist on going to the dormitory at 7: 00 every Wednesday morning to guide and urge students to clean up, check the cleaning effect, put forward suggestions for improvement, and analyze and study the problems and deficiencies in cleaning at the counselor's regular meeting that day, propose solutions, and urge counselors and teachers to solve them. The dormitory management department will arrange personnel to inspect all dormitories irregularly every week and score them. Pay attention to the dormitory on the eve of the monthly joint investigation of the whole school, find out the shortcomings and urge improvement. Summarize and report monthly health achievements.

2, adhere to the counselor often into the dormitory system.

We require counselors to go to the dormitory regularly every week to check the situation and be registered by the duty room. After a long period of contact between teachers and students, especially when counselors and teachers enter the dormitory to chat with students and talk about their own experiences, students naturally feel close, thus narrowing the distance between teachers and students. Counselors keep abreast of students' situation, help solve problems and let students feel the warmth of home. This "student-oriented" initiative has been welcomed by students, and teachers have won the respect of students. So as to stimulate students' consciousness of obeying school management and enhance students' enthusiasm for improving their own quality with the construction of civilized dormitory as the carrier.

3. Long-term adherence to the system of letting students do morning exercises and the system of morning rounds.

Group morning exercises are one of the important ways to strengthen students' physique, improve their discipline and cultivate their good living habits. For many years, our college has always insisted that all students have morning exercises. In recent years, due to the large enrollment scale and limited space, students are given morning exercises in different grades and between classes instead of morning exercises. Morning exercises have corrected the phenomenon that some students get up late and can't take care of housework. After the morning exercises, the life committee of each class urged the students to clean up the dormitory. The morning exercise system has effectively promoted the construction of civilized dormitories.

4. Pass on, help and lead the construction of civilized dormitories.

The construction of civilized dormitory is an important part of campus culture construction, which has the inheritance of campus culture. Therefore, for every xx freshmen, the college selects dozens of civilized dormitories from various departments as demonstration dormitories for all freshmen to visit and study, and carries out experience exchange meetings on the construction of civilized dormitories for new and old students. Senior students teach freshmen how to do a good job in dormitory hygiene and create excellent dormitory culture, so that freshmen can understand the standards and requirements of model dormitory, realize the importance of civilized dormitory construction, understand the problems that are easy to occur in civilized dormitory construction, and make clear the direction of efforts.

5. Strengthen safety education and safety inspection.

Safety is a top priority related to the safety of students' lives and property. Every semester, the college invites comrades from the security department and police officers from the police station to give lectures on safety knowledge to all dormitory leaders and student cadres, so as to promote students' safety awareness and ability to deal with emergencies. The college conducts irregular safety inspections, strictly checks alcohol stoves, electric heaters and other prohibited items, and gives serious treatment and patient education to students who violate discipline to ensure the safety of the dormitory. Over the past year, there has not been a safety accident in our hospital.

Thirdly, developing colorful dormitory culture and literature competitions is an effective way to improve students' enthusiasm for participating in the creation of civilized dormitories.

"Dormitory is my home" dormitory literary competition is held every semester. Taking the dormitory as the participating unit, we will improve the cohesion of dormitory members and establish a good dormitory atmosphere through activities such as knowledge quiz and talent show.

"Dormitory Culture Week" is held every semester to appraise and commend dormitory culture, and students are required to decorate dormitory culture with calligraphy, photos and small productions as the main contents, and change them regularly. Students are encouraged to love dormitory feelings through dormitory culture appraisal activities, so as to create a "United, progressive, safe, civilized, clean, harmonious and happy" dormitory environment.

Fourthly, giving full play to the exemplary role of student backbone in the construction of civilized dormitory is a powerful impetus to the construction of civilized dormitory.

Party member, a student cadre, accounts for more than one third of the total number of students in our college. These students are self-motivated and have a strong sense of collective honor, and they live among classmates. Their words and deeds affect other classmates. In order to give full play to their exemplary role, we have implemented the system of "party member Student Dormitory Express Card" and "Student Cadre Dormitory Express Card". Their names and positions are posted at the door of the dormitory. The Communist Youth League Committee and the Party branch of the college regularly discuss with them according to the dormitory situation, give them tasks and burdens, encourage them to work actively, exercise their working ability through the construction of civilized dormitory, and promote the dormitory hygiene to a higher level.
