The College of Tourism moved to Mission Hills. The construction of Mission Hills Campus of Hainan University, located in Mission Hills, Longhua District, Haikou City, is a key construction project in Hainan Province in 2020. Longhua District of Haikou City actively docked with Hainan University, took the initiative to strengthen dispatching, optimize services, deeply understand the progress of the project, actively help the project owners solve the pain points, blocking points and difficult problems existing in the project progress, and urged the project to start construction within the year. Tourism College of Hainan University is a secondary college of Hainan University. Founded in March, 2000, it is the first director unit of Tourism Education Branch of Hainan Tourism Association, the secretariat of Hainan Tourism Standardization Technical Committee, the first director unit of Hainan Tourism Talent Training Alliance and Haikou Exhibition Talent Training Base.
