Zhejiang province, referred to as "Zhejiang", is the capital of Hangzhou. Qiantang River, the largest river in Zhejiang Province, is named Jiang because of its twists and turns, also known as Zhejiang, and the whole province is named after Jiang.
It is located in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta on the southeast coast of China, bordering the East China Sea in the east, Fujian in the south, Jiangxi and Anhui in the west, and Shanghai and Jiangsu in the north.
The terrain of Zhejiang is inclined from southwest to northeast, and the terrain is complex. The mountains form three parallel branches from southwest to northeast, which are called "seven mountains, one water and two fields".
Zhejiang is a typical subtropical monsoon climate zone.
Zhejiang is the province with the largest number of islands in China, of which Zhoushan Island, with an area of 502.65 square kilometers, is the fourth largest island in China.
There are two sub-provincial cities in Zhejiang, namely Hangzhou and Ningbo, 9 prefecture-level cities, including Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou, Zhoushan, Taizhou and Lishui, 37 municipal districts, 20 county-level cities, 33 counties (including 1 autonomous county), 6 19 towns, 259 townships and 49 towns.
