Registered structural engineer refers to the professional and technical personnel who have obtained the qualification certificate and registration certificate of registered structural engineer in People's Republic of China (PRC), and are engaged in engineering design and related business of building structures, bridge structures and tower structures. Registered structural engineers are divided into first-class registered structural engineers and second-class registered structural engineers. Mainly responsible for the design of building structures, including seismic design and mechanical analysis.
