I. Introduction to the College
Hunan Judicial Police Vocational College is the only full-time ordinary college in Hunan Province sponsored by Hunan Provincial People's Government, supervised by Hunan Provincial Department of Justice and guided by Hunan Provincial Department of Education.
The college was founded in 1980, based on the training course for reform-through-labour cadres in Hunan Province. It has gone through training courses for reform-through-labour cadres in Hunan Province, reform-through-labour cadre schools in Hunan Province and judicial police schools in Hunan Province. /kloc-technical secondary education began in 0/989, and junior college education began in 2003. In 2003, it was officially renamed Hunan Judicial Police Vocational College.

1, professional setting
The college has teaching institutions such as the Executive Department, the Ministry of Justice, the Legal Department, the Management Department, the Political Education Department, the Basic Courses Department, and the Police Sports Training Department, and offers 12 majors such as criminal investigation technology, criminal execution, legal affairs, community correction, forensic expertise technology, judicial police, legal secretary, e-government, drug-related personnel correction, community management and service, judicial information security, and economic management.
2. Scale of running a school
There are about 4,000 students (including political and legal police pilot classes, three-year colleges and five-year colleges) with "on-the-job training for the people's police" and "academic education in ordinary colleges and universities".
On-the-job police training in prison reeducation through labor includes regular pre-job training and police rank promotion training for new police officers, as well as professional knowledge training such as psychological counseling and in-prison investigation, with an annual training volume of more than 4,000 person-times.
3. Personnel training
The college mainly trains people's policemen, prosecutors, judges, paralegals and practical legal service and management talents needed by social enterprises and institutions to meet the needs of political and legal work such as prisons, reeducation through labor and public security.
As a training base for judicial police officers in Hunan Province, the College adheres to the development of both academic education and vocational training, and attaches great importance to vocational training, with an annual training population of nearly 3,000. Since its official establishment, the college has trained more than 4,000 qualified graduates and more than 20,000 judicial people's policemen.
