Lanting Calligraphy Art College is a secondary college of Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. The construction and development of the college has received enthusiastic concern and strong support from leaders at all levels of the central, provincial and municipal governments. The Painting and Calligraphy Institute was built opposite the Lanting Scenic Spot in Shaoxing, the holy place of calligraphy. The college has beautiful environment, beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. The college has more than 20,000 volumes (pieces) of calligraphy and art collections. In 2005, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, our school opened the calligraphy undergraduate major for the first time, and enrolled students nationwide.
