Zhongshan No.1 Vocational and Technical School is a technical secondary school.

Zhongshan No.1 Secondary Vocational and Technical School (referred to as Zhongshan No.1 Middle School) is located in henglan town, Zhongshan City, and was established in September 2009 1. It is a secondary vocational and technical school with 20 years' experience, based on the provincial key secondary vocational school in charge of Zhongshan Education Bureau, and built in strict accordance with the school-running conditions and evaluation index system of national key secondary vocational schools.

Based on the Northwest Economic Zone with lighting, machinery manufacturing, electronics and chemical industry as the main pillars, the school radiates the whole Pearl River Delta from the strategy of optimizing the talent structure in Zhongshan, providing strong blue-collar talent support for social and economic development.

The school will have 245 teachers and more than 3500 students. The school is designed as a garden, covering an area of 300 mu.

In order to meet the market demand and serve the local economy, the school put forward the professional development plan of "building an industrial design platform, forming a chemical specialty group and building a training base". The school takes chemical engineering and machinery as the leading majors, and newly opened some popular majors in the market, such as industrial product modeling design, decoration design, lighting electronics and so on.

By 20 13 years ago, there were 12 majors in CNC, Mould, Industrial Analysis and Inspection, Fine Chemical Industry, Accounting, E-commerce, Computer Network Technology and Application, Electronic Technology Application, Electrical Operation and Control, etc. The school's laboratory facilities are advanced, with superior conditions and sufficient places. The school also offers a variety of social training such as undergraduate and junior college adult education classes, on-the-job training crash courses, agricultural technology training courses, and dual transfer of rural labor force.
