This engine is the result of Geely's independent research and development, making full use of Volvo's expert resources and sharing 50% suppliers with Volvo. From the point of core technology, Geely Job's 1.8TD engine adopts nine key technologies advanced internationally at present, and is at the first-class level in China. From the core data, the engine is superior to the EA888 second-generation engine of Volkswagen Tiguan in core indicators such as 100 km acceleration and 100 km fuel consumption.
The maximum power of 1.8TD engine is 135kW/5500rpm, and the maximum torque is 285nm/ 1500-4000rpm. This engine is the second generation of 18TD series. With strong power, advanced technology and excellent market performance, the first-generation engine of 18TD stood out among many joint venture brands, won the top ten engines of "China Heart" in 20 15, and was installed in batches in Geely Borui. 18TD second-generation engine, based on the first-generation engine, has been further improved in economy, power and NVH performance through the redevelopment and upgrading of key technologies, reaching the international leading level.
