Before I started my internship, I searched the internet for relevant knowledge and learned that numerical control technology refers to the technology of controlling one or more mechanical devices with digital instructions composed of numbers, characters and symbols. Usually control mechanical quantities such as position, angle and speed, as well as switching quantities related to the flow direction of mechanical energy. The appearance of numerical control depends on the appearance of data carrier and binary data operation.

Now, numerical control technology is also called computer numerical control technology. At present, it is a technology to realize digital program control by computer. This technology uses a computer to execute the control function of the equipment according to the pre-stored control program. Because the numerical control device composed of hardware logic circuit is replaced by computer, the storage, processing, operation and logical judgment of input data can be realized by computer software.

During the internship, the teacher patiently explained to us the usage of each instruction in the numerical control software. Under the guidance of the teacher, we quickly got started, stepped into the threshold of numerical control, and properly arranged some homework. We also take it seriously and earnestly complete every task assigned by the teacher. After completing the task, we also used our imagination to try to turn some parts with the patterns we wanted, and the effect was not bad.

Time always flies, and two weeks passed quickly. Junior year, about to enter the society, facing employment. The employment unit will not tell us the work to be done in detail like the teacher, but we need to observe, learn and summarize it ourselves. Without this ability, it is difficult to be competent for future challenges. With the rapid development of science and the wide application of new technologies, there will be many fields that we have never touched. Only by daring to try can we make a breakthrough and make innovations. The two numerical control internships brought us not only the operational skills we came into contact with, but also the ability that needs to be exercised through several types of work. More importantly, we need each of us to feel, reflect, encourage ourselves diligently and gain something after the internship, so that this internship can achieve his real purpose.

The three-week metalworking practice brought me not only all the operating skills I came into contact with, but also the ability that I need to exercise through several types of work. More importantly, I need everyone to feel, reflect, work hard, encourage themselves and gain something after the internship, so as to achieve the real purpose of this internship.

Through this internship, I learned about the production mode and technological process of modern machinery manufacturing industry. Familiar with the main forming methods and processing methods of engineering data, the working principle and typical structure of the main equipment used, the use of fixture measuring tools and safe operation technology. Understand the knowledge of mechanical manufacturing process and the application of new technology, new technology and new equipment in mechanical manufacturing.
