Hello, the screw compressor is a kind of positive displacement compressor. The air compression is realized by the volume change of the tooth grooves of the male and female rotors installed in the casing and engaged in parallel with each other. The rotor pair rotates in the casing which is closely matched with it, so that the gas between the rotor cogging constantly produces periodic volume changes and is pushed from the suction side to the exhaust side along the rotor axis, completing the three working processes of suction, compression and exhaust.

The inlet valve (also known as unloading valve) of screw air compressor is mainly composed of valve body, valve core (piston), gas manifold block, solenoid valve and proportional valve (capacity regulating valve). The opening of the load-reducing valve determines the size of air intake, and it is also the adjustment actuator of exhaust (pressure). When the compressor is started, the valve of the load reducing valve is in the closed position to reduce the starting load of the compressor; During normal operation, according to the comparison between the detected exhaust pressure and the set value, the proportional valve starts to work, so that the valve of the load-reducing valve is gradually turned down or up with the rise and fall of the pressure, and the exhaust volume is reduced (or increased) in proportion. This process is called proportional adjustment process, which controls the air compressor to complete loading and unloading. I hope it helps you!
