Record an internal job competition experience
On Tuesday, I took part in the application examination (written test+practical operation+interview) of "Overseas Expert Consultant for Decoration and Maintenance" organized by the provincial company, and found it worth recording.

Recruitment notices can be seen all over the province, and qualified applicants can submit application forms. (This recruitment requirement is not high. I estimate that many people will sign up, and the result is not too much. 28 people have 10. )

Lessons learned:

In this process, I made a very serious mistake, that is, I didn't inform the person in charge of our department, that is, the person in charge of our county company, before I submitted the application form (the above step 1).

My idea at that time was: this position is part-time, and when there is no project, I still work in the original position, which is not considered as transfer; In addition, the leader was embarrassed to bother him with such a trivial matter when he was on vacation.

I didn't expect registration to be so troublesome: we should not only alert the person in charge of our county company, but also alert the person in charge of the human resources department of the city company and inform the person in charge of the city company.

When I received an email from a provincial company (step 2 above) saying that I wanted to find the leader of the human resources department of the municipal company to approve the registration information, I realized that I had to talk to the leader of our county company, otherwise, if the human resources department of the municipal company asked the leader of our county company, it would be in big trouble.

Because the work of the leaders of our county company was handed over to our vice president during the vacation, I called our vice president to briefly report the situation. The vice president answered me:

I just realized the seriousness of the matter. I really didn't expect this to be related to "personnel changes" before, because the recruitment information clearly says "keep the original position" But this is really "recruitment". Recruitment is "personnel change".

I'll call our general manager quickly and explain the situation briefly. I can imagine that the leader was really unhappy at that time, but he still agreed to let me apply.

"My soldiers will go to other troops without even saying hello. Don't take me seriously?" The brain made up the story in Soldier Assault. At the end of a mission, Gao Cheng, the company commander of the seventh company, praised Cai Cheng in front of everyone. Cai Cheng told him to report to the Red Company immediately.

Because I panicked when I called at that time, I didn't express myself clearly. In the evening, I edited a long paragraph of my own thoughts through Yixin and sent it to the leader. The central idea is that I am thoughtless, so please forgive me. I think the leader will forgive me when he sees it.

The above paragraph is simply:

Before taking part in the internal post competition, you must inform the leader and submit the application after obtaining the consent of the leader-don't bother, the leader will not feel trouble, which is the basic respect for the leader. Remember!

The examination adopts written test+practical exercise+trial, and the specific proportion is as follows:

Two days before the exam, I mainly practice practical exercises, because practical exercises account for the largest proportion and the theory is not empty. I can't try to give lectures, but the proportion is very small.

I really hope I can apply, because I can earn money and see the customs of foreign countries. Even those underdeveloped countries, I am willing to go, because I think I am not afraid of hardship.

So I studied hard for the exam, and didn't play much for two days at the weekend: I went to the user's home to install broadband with the costume master, and borrowed their tools to practice fused fiber in the office. I think I have mastered the essentials, but unfortunately I did badly in the practice exam.

I handed in my PPT at the end of the exam at 10:30, and the process was very painful-you know, the report of my last 5G training was only 15 minutes, and the time for preparing PPT+ report must have exceeded 50 hours. I finished the PPT+ lecture in an hour this time, which really exhausted me. . .

The second project is to install broadband telephone according to the work order for 30 minutes.

The tools are still awkward. Forget it. It's simple, but even fused fiber can't afford to melt. Can't keep repeating. 0 points, no running.

The third item is troubleshooting, 10 minutes.

The invigilator said that this project can only be done if the second subject is successful. I didn't make the second one, so I don't need to take the third one. At that time, I was relatively calm on the surface. I asked the teacher if I could use the environment of other candidates to test troubleshooting. The inner thought is that these are all small things to me. The teacher replied, "No, you don't have to take the exam. Your skill is absolutely hopeless. Try harder next time. . . "I ... . . Still have to pretend to be atmospheric. . .

First of all, I think the practical test can test a person's technical level. In the tense atmosphere of the examination room, it is really amazing to complete the above three items within the specified time, which well embodies the "artisan spirit"-simple things have been done to the extreme.

However, I think the practical test must have a premise: the tools can be prepared by themselves. It's like playing a game with your own musical instrument, running a marathon with your own running shoes, and taking part in a real battle with your own tools.

Because I chose the host myself, I can only say that I am unlucky when I encounter a tool that is not easy to use. But this situation can be avoided by rules, and the game will be fairer.

After the trial, I packed my things and left with a colleague from our group in Chengdu. End.
