The Purpose and Significance of Principal Training
The purpose and significance of principal training: to master the real skills of managing schools and educating people by using modern concepts and means, and gradually make school management more scientific, standardized and institutionalized. Adhere to the integration of theory with practice, consistent learning and application, teaching according to needs, paying attention to practical results, not only learning theory, but also discussing and solving practical problems, so as to combine systematic training with special business training.

Problems in the training of principals;

(A) in the formulation of the training plan, it did not really meet the needs of principals participating in the training and the needs of local school management. Whether it is the training organized and implemented by county-level education cadre training institutions or the training of principals at or above the county level, the training plan is formulated according to the requirements of the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education and the training objectives, contents, time, forms and means stipulated in the documents.

Due to the insufficient investigation of training needs, sometimes no investigation is conducted at all, and little or nothing is known about the current situation, new situation and new problems of primary and secondary school management. In this state, it is difficult for the training program to achieve problem-oriented and regional adaptability.

(2) In the implementation of the training course, on the one hand, we are used to attending lectures (lectures), while participation and discussion are mostly a mere formality. On the one hand, it pays attention to the link of theoretical study, ignores the interaction between principals and ignores the extension to post practice. Mainly face-to-face, invite several experts to give several lectures, invite several principals to introduce their own experience in running schools, assign homework and organize exams.
