The Love Society of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology was established in September, 1998. Dedicated students volunteered to participate, and a student association was formally organized and led. Over the past 20 years, the Love Society has been adhering to the purpose of "dedication to love and self-improvement". Under the leadership of the Party Organization and the Youth League Committee of the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, we are constantly pioneering and innovating, keeping pace with the times, actively carrying out a number of volunteer service activities and being enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings. Excellent Association-Mathematical Modeling Association
Mathematical Modeling Association is an organization that provides a platform for all students to understand modeling, carry out modeling activities and exchange modeling experience. In order to enrich students' college life, improve their professional quality and stimulate their interest in learning, the Mathematical Modeling Association was established in the first semester of 2007.

The Youth Civilized Construction Association, referred to as the "Construction Association", is affiliated to the School of Mechanical Engineering of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. Founded in 1992, it has been rated as an "advanced society" of the school for many years. A word of argument is more important than Jiuding's treasure, and it is better than ten thousand teachers. Taiyuan University of Science and Technology Speech Debate Association, now affiliated to the Youth League Committee of the College of Electronic Information Engineering, is a community dedicated to improving college students' eloquence.
As the only eloquence club in the whole school, the Speech Debate Association aims at improving eloquence and making every student dare to speak, focusing on cultivating college students' eloquence ability. Through training, students can understand and learn speeches and debates, and show the results of learning through competitions. In-depth implementation of the purpose of "enriching the forms of campus cultural and recreational activities, creating a good campus cultural atmosphere, giving full play to the role of students in the second classroom and serving the construction of campus civilization".

NewMaker intelligent training base is based on mechanical manufacturing laboratory, with Cheng Junxiu and Bai as instructors, and aims at cultivating and improving students' practical ability and independent innovation ability. With the strong support of the Youth League Committee, the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Mechanical Engineering, it provides a platform for college students with innovative ideas and dare to challenge to realize their innovative dreams. NewMaker intelligent training base originated from several technical houses with dreams. They are eager to find a place where they can realize their dreams. Their attitude towards the project and the spirit of constant knowledge touched their teachers, so the teachers provided them with a platform to realize their dreams. Since then, it has become their technological paradise.
