Shenzhen Art School, founded in 1986, is the only full-time public art secondary specialized school in Shenzhen and a key secondary vocational school in Guangdong Province. It is headed by Shenzhen Culture, Radio, Film, Tourism and Sports Bureau and led by Shenzhen Education Bureau. With the motto of "honesty, ambition, exquisiteness and erudition", the school has become an art professional school with certain influence in the field of international art education.

The school has two campuses, Futian and Nanshan. Covering an area of 6 1474 square meters and building area of 6 1673 square meters. There are four majors in music, dance, fine arts and film and television performance, and there are 12 professional disciplines, and several teaching performance groups have been established.

Chen Sa, Zhang Haochen, Zhang Zuo and other outstanding graduates went to the world from our school and became internationally famous pianists. Students have won gold and silver medals in top competitions at home and abroad.
