Error 1:

Mistake 2: I don't know the situation.

Mistake 3: When introducing yourself, read the newspaper. I happened to have that draft with me that day, and then I started reading it. But then the judges told me not to read the newspaper ... obviously, they didn't want you to read the manuscript.
Mistake 4:
I'm not prepared to introduce myself in Chinese. When I was suddenly asked to introduce myself in Chinese, I panicked because I really didn't know where to start (self-introduction is so important! ! ! ! Later, the interviewer directly said that this expression was incoherent and illogical. In fact, what I usually say is very logical, especially for some mature problems. However, I really don't know what to say when introducing myself. Because it can be simple. Error 5:
Inadequate preparation. In fact, the interviewer just wants to know "what have you done to make you qualified for this position". You just need to answer this question and give enough reasons. However, I lack thinking on this issue, and my own experience is limited, so what I said is very pale.

This interview is to inform the candidate to give a ten-minute trial lecture, mainly to see whether the candidate's knowledge reserve is competent for the courses taught and whether his teaching methods are easily liked by the current students. Therefore, in this ten-minute trial, you must get to the point quickly and show your deep understanding of the course you are teaching. Therefore, before the interview, it is an essential preparation step to summarize and sort out the real questions of the college entrance examination in recent years. Secondly, you must show your unique teaching style in class, so that the interviewer will remember you at once.
Under the friendly reminder, it is very important to dress neatly and speak clearly during the interview. Although teachers in New Oriental are not required to wear formal clothes to class every day, mature and generous clothes are still necessary for teachers.

A ten-minute lecture may not penetrate a person's knowledge reserve, but it can definitely show whether a person is seriously preparing for the position of "teacher".
3. Do you want to tell jokes during the trial?
During the interview, we found that in the ten-minute trial, some candidates spent eight minutes or more telling jokes or so-called "jokes". This reflects a misunderstanding of New Oriental classroom and New Oriental culture on campus now. Some candidates may learn about New Oriental through the so-called "XX quotations" and so on, but this is not what New Oriental values or pays attention to. The classroom that we ask teachers to present is efficient and practical. Especially in the interview stage, we value the teacher's familiarity with knowledge and clear expression ability. The reason why a famous teacher becomes a famous teacher is definitely not that the teacher tells jokes well, but that the teacher tells practical and solid knowledge in class.
