The current chairman of Shanghai Charity Foundation is Ms. Chen Tiedi, with 23 directors, vice-chairmen and directors. The Council consists of four professional committees, namely, Donation Committee, Relief Committee, Publicity and Culture Committee, Asset Management Committee and Love Service Center. These departments are divided into fundraising department, external liaison department, charity material management center, medical department, charity education and training center, propaganda and culture department, beloved magazine, charity development research center, asset management department, Renzhong Garden, Renzhong Paradise, Jinshan Renzhong Nursing Home and Renzhong Children Rehabilitation Center. The Foundation has set up branches in 0/9 districts and counties of the whole city. At the end of 2004, Shanghai Charity Foundation established a charity volunteer corps.

The foundation also has audit bureau, board of supervisors, legal advisory group and accounting advisory group to supervise and inspect business and financial work. Every year, an independent audit institution will audit and inspect the financial affairs of the foundation, and the audit results will be announced to the public through Liberation Daily.
