For decades, he has taught 12 undergraduate courses: reinforced concrete (RC) structure, steel structure, finite element method, computer method of structural analysis, elasticity, RC high-rise building, high-rise structure, structural plastic design, etc. He teaches four master's and doctoral courses: advanced steel structure, theory and design of long-span spatial structure, theory of structural stability and theory and design of structural earthquake resistance. He has published 86 academic papers (author number 1) in Journal of Building Structure, Journal of Building Structure, Steel Structure, Spatial Structure, Special Structure and Journal of South China University of Technology, and put forward the four-five-six viewpoint of structural design-four steps of careful design of steel structure; Five indexes to measure the advantages and disadvantages of long-span roof structure; Correctly handle six relationships in structural design.
