For decades, he has taught 12 undergraduate courses: reinforced concrete (RC) structure, steel structure, finite element method, computer method of structural analysis, elasticity, RC high-rise building, high-rise structure, structural plastic design, etc. He teaches four master's and doctoral courses: advanced steel structure, theory and design of long-span spatial structure, theory of structural stability and theory and design of structural earthquake resistance. He has published 86 academic papers (author number 1) in Journal of Building Structure, Journal of Building Structure, Steel Structure, Spatial Structure, Special Structure and Journal of South China University of Technology, and put forward the four-five-six viewpoint of structural design-four steps of careful design of steel structure; Five indexes to measure the advantages and disadvantages of long-span roof structure; Correctly handle six relationships in structural design. In August, 2003, the Construction Engineer's Qualification Registration Center of the Ministry of Construction held two large-scale training courses (6 days each): Design and Calculation of Long-span Spatial Structure: lectured by Academician Dong Shilin, Professor Wang Shitong, Professor Guo, Researcher Qian and Researcher.

From 2004 to 2005, at the invitation of Guangdong Construction Engineer's Qualification Registration Center (more than 3,000 registered teachers) and Shenzhen Survey and Design Association (more than 600 registered teachers), he taught spatial structure in more than 0 continuing education training courses at/kloc-0.

On May 27th, 2005, Academician Wu, Academician Qian Zhou, Chairman Tan Qinglian (former Deputy Minister of Construction of china civil engineering society), Academician Jiang Wancheng, Professor Fang Dongping, Professor, Professor Wang Shitong, Professor Lantian, Professor Li Shaofu, Researcher Feng Dabin and other experts were invited by China Academy of Engineering 10 to attend the 39th China Science and Technology Museum.
