Recruitment conditions and age of male soldiers
Male citizens who have reached the age of eighteen before December 31st each year shall be enlisted for active service. Those who were not enlisted in that year can still be enlisted for active service before the age of 22.

According to the needs of the army and the principle of voluntariness, male and female citizens who were under the age of 18 years before1February 3/that year can be recruited for active service.

The following recruitment conditions:

1, political conditions

Qualified in political examination and physical examination.

2. Education

Non-agricultural registered permanent residence youth meet the graduation education level of high school or above, while agricultural registered permanent residence youth standards are lower, but they also need junior high school education or above.

3. Age condition

The age of conscription is not more than 25 years old. The age requirement for male soldiers is between 18 and 24 years old, for college students, under 22 years old, for vocational college graduates under 23 years old, and for graduates with bachelor degree or above, it is relaxed to 24 years old; Recruitment age of female soldiers 17 to 22 years old. The age limit will be relaxed if the army needs it or requires it specially.

4. Physical state

The height requirement for male soldiers is adjusted from the minimum 162 cm to more than 160 cm; The height requirement of female soldiers is adjusted from the minimum 160cm to above 158cm, but the height requirements of recruits in different arms are also different. The weight is still not lower than 15% of the standard weight and not higher than 25% of the standard weight.

We also adjusted our vision requirements. In the case of naked eye vision, the right eye vision is reduced from 4.8 to 4.6, and the left eye vision is reduced from 4.6 to 4.5, but the education requirement is college students or college students. The basic process of enlistment

1. Be drafted into the army

Young people of school age can log on to the National Recruitment Network to apply for enlistment. After registration, according to the notice of the military service organ in the place of application, participate in the follow-up conscription work, including preliminary examination, physical examination, political assessment (including the comprehensive quality assessment of female soldiers), pre-job education, soldier approval, handover and departure.

2. Recruit non-commissioned officers directly

According to online registration, qualification examination, physical examination, political assessment, comprehensive evaluation, handover and resignation procedures.

3. Orientation training for non-commissioned officers

(1) training process: the academic system lasts for 3 years, with the first 2.5-year academic year in the charge of directional training institutions and the second 0.5-year academic year in the charge of conscription.

(2) Conscription: Those who have completed the required courses, completed the required credits, passed the physical examination and political assessment, and met the conditions for active service shall go through the enlistment procedures.

Preferential treatment guarantee policy

1. preferential policies for joining the army

(1) Retain school status (admission qualification): Freshmen or college students retain their admission qualification or school status during their active service, and are allowed to enroll or resume their studies within 2 years after retirement.

(2) Returning to school and changing majors: College soldiers can return to school after retiring and can be transferred to other majors in our school.

(3) Enjoy state education and assistance: college students who have been drafted into the army, recruited as noncommissioned officers, and returned to school or enrolled after retirement are entitled to tuition compensation, state student loan compensation and tuition reduction. The standard is the maximum annual amount of 1.2 million yuan for undergraduates and 1.6 million yuan for postgraduates.

(4) Enrollment of fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities: those who meet the graduation conditions are allowed to graduate and enjoy the relevant treatment of fresh graduates enrollment.

(5) Exemption from the "College Entrance Examination": Higher vocational (junior college) graduates and students (including college freshmen) are enlisted in the army. After retirement, you can study for an ordinary undergraduate or an adult undergraduate without taking an exam on the premise of completing your studies.

2. Security policy during the service period

(1) Living allowance: Enjoy the living allowance of the supply system, including allowances and subsidies. The current basic allowance standard is 1 year 1000 yuan per month, and100 yuan per month in the second year (excluding other subsidies).

(2) Family members' preferential payments: the family members of conscripts are given preferential payments by the government where the troops are located upon approval; Since 20021,the settling-in allowance has been paid every year according to the per capita consumption expenditure standard of urban residents in the whole province in the year before conscripts joined the army.

(3) Select the sergeant:

(1) Servicemen can apply for non-commissioned officer colleges;

(2) conscripts can choose to replace non-commissioned officers when their service expires; Those who perform particularly well can be selected and changed in advance.

(4) Selection of officials:

(1) Ordinary high school graduates with educational level or above or equivalent educational level, unmarried, under the age of 22 (college students, graduate students or ethnic minorities relax 1 year), who have served in active service for 1 year and not more than 3 years, can apply for military schools;

(2) Full-time undergraduate graduates of ordinary institutions of higher learning, with a length of service of 1 year but no more than 3 years, with an undergraduate age of no more than 26 years and a postgraduate age of no more than 29 years, can be promoted;

(3) Select elite soldiers from combat troops below the division level and troops stationed in Xinjiang and Tibet and walk them to school.

4. Retirement related policies

(1) Resettlement policy: demobilized conscripts are resettled by self-employment, job arrangement and support; Retired noncommissioned officers shall be resettled by receiving monthly retirement pension, self-employment, job arrangement and retirement support; Retired noncommissioned officers who have served in active service for 12 years or meet the requirements shall be arranged by the local people's governments at or above the county level.

(2) Directional recruitment or priority employment: College graduate soldiers who have served for more than 5 years (inclusive) can take the orientation examination for civil servants in service-oriented grassroots projects after retirement; When recruiting civil servants, public officials and staff of public institutions, under the same conditions, retired soldiers who meet the working conditions arranged by the government will be given priority; The active service experience of retired soldiers in the army is regarded as grassroots work experience.

(3) Free vocational skills training: Self-employed retired soldiers can choose to receive a free training (free of tuition and fees, accommodation fees and skill appraisal fees) and enjoy living allowance during the training period.

(4) Enjoy tax incentives for entrepreneurial finance: self-employed retired soldiers and their small and micro enterprises can apply for entrepreneurial guarantee loans and enjoy loan interest subsidies; Ex-servicemen who are engaged in self-employment can enjoy tax incentives.

(5) Reward for Retired Soldiers of College Students: Retired soldiers of college students (including college graduates, students and freshmen) who joined the army and completed their service will be given a one-time reward by the local government after retirement (the amount varies, basically above five figures, subject to local notice).

Citizens who have serious physical defects or serious disabilities and are unsuitable for military service are exempted from military service. Citizens who apply for the job are the only labor force to support their family life or students who are studying in full-time schools, and their application can be postponed.

People deprived of political rights according to law are not recruited. Citizens who are being investigated, prosecuted, tried or sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment, criminal detention or public surveillance shall not be recruited.
