Thesis counseling is not illegal in foreign countries, but international students should keep their eyes open when choosing counseling institutions. Some black institutions are doing illegal business of writing papers on behalf of others under the guise of tutoring, which is a serious academic misconduct abroad. Once discovered, international students may face the punishment of being expelled from the school.
