The First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1949. It is a three-level first-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, rehabilitation and preventive health care. The First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Baoding, an ancient city with a long history and profound cultural heritage. Its predecessor was Hebei Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. After more than 60 years of construction and development, it has gradually become a third-class and first-class comprehensive Chinese medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, preventive health care and rehabilitation. It is Baoding Hospital affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the first batch of standardized training base for Chinese medicine residents, a national drug clinical trial institution and a provincial demonstration Chinese medicine hospital.
