Adult education in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has three levels of continuing education: junior college, undergraduate course and junior college. Offering Chinese medicine, clinical medicine of Chinese and Western medicine, acupuncture and massage, rehabilitation therapy, clinical medicine, Tibetan medicine, pharmacy, Chinese medicine, nursing, medical examination, business administration, food hygiene, nutrition and other majors.

Non-academic continuing education mainly undertakes the training tasks of the State and Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Provincial Health Planning Commission, and accepts the training programs entrusted by relevant units. It mainly includes the training of county-level TCM clinical technical backbone, the training of TCM personnel in township hospitals, the training of TCM general practitioners, the training of TCM specialized diseases, the review examination of TCM classics for TCM personnel, the assessment of TCM teachers' resignation, the training of health personnel in ethnic areas of Sichuan Province, and the training of western medicine personnel to learn TCM knowledge.
