College entrance examination refers to the selective examination for junior college students to enter the undergraduate stage, which is the examination system for junior college students to enter the undergraduate colleges in Chinese mainland.
There are two kinds of undergraduate courses.
One is the college entrance examination for general higher education (also known as the unified examination), which is limited to the fresh graduates of all provinces, municipalities directly under the central government and full-time ordinary colleges and universities (the unified examination).
The other is adult higher education, which has four ways: self-taught examination, adult college entrance examination (divided into amateur and correspondence learning methods), online education (distance education) and open university (formerly RTVU).
