American Institute of Production and Inventory Control (Inc.) was founded in 1957. As a management organization, "APICS" has been renamed as "APICS Operation Management Association" since June 65438+ 10/day, 2005. Initially, it was composed of 26 organizations engaged in production and inventory management all over the United States. Some founders and promoters of MRPII are early members or leaders of APICS. At present, APICS has developed into an authoritative international modern management association and education and training institution, with 270 branches and more than 72,000 members, distributed in about 30 countries or regions around the world, and about 20Doo companies have APICS members among their employees.
