Shiyan City, Hubei Province is the only regional central city adjacent to Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Chongqing. It is located at the junction of three major economic sectors: Central China, Southwest China and Northwest China. It is the largest center of automobile manufacturing, automobile scientific research, medical care, commercial distribution, transportation hub, tourism culture and ecological regulation in the adjacent area, and the core city of eco-cultural tourism circle in western Hubei.
Shiyan City, Hubei Province is Wudang Mountain, a world-famous Taoist shrine, Danjiangkou Reservoir, the source of water diversion for the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer, and the headquarters of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company, which is the first in China and the third in the world. Shiyan City, Hubei Province has a total area of 20,000-40,000 square kilometers and a population of 3.5 million.
The city can be divided into four main landform types: hilly, low mountain, Zhongshan and high mountain, and two sub-landform types: valley flat and intermountain basin. Shiyan area belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual precipitation of 834 mm and an average temperature of 65438 05.2℃. Since the establishment of the Second Automobile Factory in Shiyan City from 65438 to 0969, an industrial system of automobiles, water and electricity with increasingly reasonable structure has basically formed. Automobile industry, hydropower industry, tourism industry and ecological industry have become the four pillar industries of Shiyan's economic development.
