This major trains application-oriented and compound senior tourism management talents with good quality and professionalism, basic theoretical knowledge of tourism, management methods and skills, familiarity with relevant policies, business processes and service skills of tourism and hotel industry at home and abroad, decent manners, strong communication skills and comprehensive ability to solve practical problems. After graduation, students can engage in the development and management of tourism resources in travel agencies, high-end hotels, scenic spots, resorts and other tourism enterprises, as well as tourism administrative departments of governments at all levels, and can also engage in teaching, training and scientific research in schools and research institutes.

In 2006, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, he was awarded a master's degree in "China Minority Economy".
