With the increasingly clear macroeconomic situation, the overall situation of economic recovery has gradually emerged. As a trainer with more than ten years' practical experience in management training, Nanjing Shangyi Enterprise Management Consultant clearly felt that the training demand of enterprises was increasing rapidly from 20 10. Many training institutions and business leaders in China invited me to make training plans, design training courses and give lectures. From the beginning of this year to the present, the demand is constantly bursting. After nearly half a year's observation and experience of 20 12, I summarized the current and future 10 trend of enterprise management training, and provided it for everyone's reference for the training industry and enterprise training leaders.
1. Management certificate training has encountered a bottleneck: ability improvement is more important than certificate.
China's business management training began around 2000. After 10 years of development, it has grown from a piecemeal training to a large-scale industry, and has experienced several stages of start-up, growth and development. Because the management discipline started late, the management discipline education in colleges and universities is relatively backward. With more and more attention paid to management training by enterprises, professional management training has been developed, and the subsequent management professional qualification certification is surging. In recent years, the author has presided over or participated in the formulation and implementation of professional qualification standard certification systems in many countries. Vocational qualification standards and certification training undoubtedly play a very important role in improving the quality of managers and promoting the professionalization process of managers. However, when obtaining a certificate becomes the main purpose of certificate training, when standardization ignores optimization and emphasizes generalization, the gold content of certification training of vocational qualification standards will be greatly reduced. The author believes that the standard of vocational qualification certification is the minimum standard for practitioners, and the focus of vocational qualification certificate training should be in the field of vocational skills, which is not suitable for groups dominated by middle and senior managers. As a systematic project, the professionalization and quality improvement of managers can not be completed in three, five or even more days of training. Therefore, the training of middle and senior managers should pay more attention to the improvement of ability, rather than the recognition of certificates. Easy-to-get certificates are far less important than ability.
2. The presidential class is becoming more and more difficult to recruit: the boss's demand for regular training is basically saturated.
Due to long-term teaching in MBA, EMBA, and presidential seminars of some prestigious schools, in the past two years, the heads of training institutions have often admitted that it is becoming more and more difficult to recruit students for presidential classes. Indeed, in the past, as long as you made a name for yourself and entered a famous university, you could recruit 70 or 80 or even 100 to 200 business executives as students. However, the difficulty in recruiting students has become a common problem in training institutions all over the country. The main reasons are as follows: First, after years of market development, most enterprise executives have studied similar courses, so the demand for participating in the same type of training is basically saturated; Second, the training options for senior managers of enterprises are becoming more and more diversified, not only favoring the president's seminar; Third, there are more and more similar projects in prestigious schools (reproduced from the white-collar network: www.86kx.com), and the homogenization tendency is very serious. Everyone's yearning for and recognition of prestigious schools are gradually decreasing, and the expensive training expenses and course quality also make the training choices of business owners more rational.
3. The level of training objects gradually moves down: the training of middle managers and key employees has gradually become the focus.
Recently, when helping enterprises to make training plans, I feel that the focus of management training has gradually shifted from top managers to middle managers and grassroots employees. Although "training is not everything, you can't do anything without training." After all, training is the most direct and effective way to improve the quality of enterprise talents. The professionalization process of enterprise talents has a long way to go, especially the cultivation of middle-level managers and key employees plays an important role in the cultivation of enterprise reserve talents. Improving the professional quality of enterprise managers and staff teams is the source of enterprise core competitiveness.
4. The practical needs of management courses are strengthened: not only to "understand", but also to "learn".
In the past, trainers often ignored the effectiveness of training while paying too much attention to the training atmosphere. In recent years, the enterprise management training industry has begun to pay attention to the discussion and research on the training effect, so as to achieve both "constant jokes" and "real learning and real practice".
When participating in the enterprise training project, the author not only needs to complete the teaching task, but also requires himself to dig deep into the problems existing in the enterprise and exchange opinions with the enterprise in time, because this is the responsibility of a trainer. Management training is not a dinner party, let alone an entertainment speech. It is the most important thing to find the problems of enterprises in the training process and help them solve them. In addition, management training is not difficult to understand, but it is not easy to learn and do, so we should strengthen the experience of learning. The author tries to improve the knowledge conversion rate through a series of homework and tool training when giving coaching training to some enterprises. Enterprises should be clear that speaking well is the ability of trainers and doing well is the ability of students.
5. Training companies are in urgent need of business transformation: training institutions are showing a trend of market segmentation.
According to incomplete statistics, there are about100000 enterprise training institutions in China. The original set of management courses, like looking for a needle in a haystack, is becoming less and less effective. There are many small companies in the training industry, most of which are "three to five people with seven or eight guns". After mastering the information of several teachers, they began to recruit students and cultivate them, so they generally don't grow up and live long, and the industry is extremely scattered. In the past two years, in the face of the change of enterprise demand, some training institutions have begun to actively transform their business, among which market segmentation and specialization are a better way. For example, according to the market positioning of financial industry, food industry, construction industry, etc., conduct industry research and develop industry courses, thus improving the pertinence of training.
