A. what's the use of obtaining a Japanese level certificate?
First, the use of certificates:
1. When recruiting foreign students, most universities in Japan are required to submit candidates' N 1 certificates as the basis of their language proficiency.
2. Japanese universities require registered international students to submit proof of N/KLOC-0 and/or N2.
3. Japan requires relevant international exchanges or some labor importers to submit corresponding grade certificates.
Some Japanese-funded enterprises in China require their job seekers to submit corresponding grade certificates.
5. The certificates of N1,N2, N3, N4 and N5 are all valid for a long time.
Second, advantages:
With the rapid development of China's foreign economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation, the "Chinese fever" is heating up all over the world. Under the background of the great development of international communication, the specialty of "Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language" has also ushered in a rare development opportunity. At the same time, more foreign language majors have found more employment opportunities and development directions. As a neighboring country of China, the radiation of Chinese fever also makes more and more Japanese students turn to foreign language majors for further study or employment, and passing the formal Japanese examination and study has become the primary goal pursued by more students.
Third, the purpose of the exam:
The range of candidates taking the Japanese proficiency test is constantly expanding, and the purpose of the test is also increasing. In addition to testing Japanese proficiency, there are also job applications, promotions, promotions and so on. There are more and more requirements and suggestions for testing. Therefore, the Japan Foundation for International Exchange and the Japan Association for International Education Support revised the contents of the Japanese Proficiency Test by using the research results of Japanese pedagogy and examination theory for more than 20 years and the test score data accumulated so far, and implemented a new Japanese Proficiency Test on 20 10.
:
The Japanese proficiency test is organized by the Japan Foundation for International Exchange and its consortium, Japan Association for International Education Exchange, and has been implemented since 1984. It is a Japanese proficiency test for learners whose mother tongue is not Japanese. Every July and 65438+February, Japan organizes a global unified examination.
By the end of 2009, 176 cities (excluding Japan) in 54 countries and regions have held this examination, with a total of 742,000 applicants. (In China, there are 70 test sites in 37 cities. )
There are no restrictions on age, occupation, education, region, nationality and school. China citizens with official identity cards and foreigners with passports can register online. The examination papers are sent from Japan to all parts of the world, and then all of them are sent back to Japan for unified marking, and the results are sent back to all places around March. Therefore, the examination is global and the qualification certificate obtained is universal. Besides Japanese, you can also register for the exam in 35 countries and regions including China.
* * * It is divided into five levels (N5 to N 1 0 in 20 10/,and the original four levels are divided into five levels). Among them, N 1 is the most difficult, and both domestic public universities and well-known private universities require N 1 to pass the exam before admission. The N 1 test includes language knowledge, reading and listening. The full mark is 180, the qualified score is 100, and the score in each subject is not less than 19. A Japanese N 1 certificate will be awarded.
The requirement of the N 1 exam is to master a high level of Japanese grammar, with 2000 Chinese characters and about 10000 words, and have the Japanese level needed for barrier-free access to Japanese social studies. If you pass the first-level exam in China, you can apply directly to a Japanese university without going to a Japanese school or university preparatory course.

B. is the Japanese secondary certificate very useful?
This mainly depends on the individual, as long as it feels useful. In addition, it also has certain advantages in employment.
Brief introduction and related knowledge of Japanese grade examination
About Japanese Proficiency Test: Japanese Proficiency Test is a Japanese Proficiency Test organized by the Japan Foundation for International Exchange under the Ministry of Education of Japan (equivalent to the Ministry of Education of China). From June 5th to February every year, Japan organizes exams all over the world. The examination papers are sent from Japan to all parts of the world, and then all of them are sent back to Japan for unified marking, and the results are sent back to all places around March. Therefore, the examination is global and the qualification certificate obtained is universal.
Division of Japanese Grade Examination: Japanese Grade Examination is divided into four grades: Grade I, Grade II, Grade III and Grade IV. The first level is the highest and the fourth level is the lowest. Level 1 is equivalent to level 6, and level 2 is equivalent to level 4. The exam is divided into four parts: vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening. The exam is divided into four grades, and their corresponding Japanese level is as follows:
1 level: master advanced grammar, vocabulary (about 2000 words) and vocabulary (10000 words). Besides mastering Japanese which is necessary in social life, I also have the comprehensive Japanese ability to conduct scientific research in Japanese universities. (Learning Japanese for 900 hours)
Level 2: Master a high level of grammar, vocabulary (about 1000 words) and vocabulary (about 6000 words), and have general conversation, reading and writing skills. (Learning Japanese for 600 hours)
Level 3: master basic grammar, words (about 300 words) and vocabulary (1500 words), master common conversations in daily life, and be able to read and write simple articles. (Learn Japanese for 300 hours)
CET-4: Master elementary grammar, vocabulary (about 100 words) and vocabulary (about 800 words), be able to have simple conversations and read and write simple and short Japanese articles. (Learning Japanese 150 hours)
C. is it useful for engineering students to take the Japanese grade certificate to find a job?
Indeed, as upstairs said, Japanese level 4 to level 1 is arranged from easy to difficult. There is no need to take CET-4, it's a waste of money. But there are too many people who have passed the second level of Japanese. At Japanese level, everyone is a bunch of people ~ you have no advantage.
Language should have professional grafting. What machine tool does my buddy study? Not really. He taught himself Japanese. Because there is a professional backing, so the professional does not need Japanese translation. When he brought it to the machine, he could basically understand the instructions. Now he is also the head of the factory. Because only he knows the major and language ~
D. is the Japanese secondary certificate useful? See the second grade?
Useful, some enterprises can do it at the second level, and 90 points will be over.
Whether it is based on personal interests or not, we should master one more language as soon as possible. Compared with other languages, Japanese is easy to learn and is likely to be used in daily life.
First, the basic introduction, an important aspect of Japanese learning introduction is the memory and learning of five-tone diagrams, which is equivalent to learning English letters and is the basis of the whole Japanese learning. If this link is completed well, learning other aspects can get twice the result with half the effort. If you want to learn Japanese, you can come to this Q group, starting with 478, ending with 932 and ending with 026, where you can learn to communicate and download materials.
Second, the introduction of Japanese learning needs to follow a textbook with high learning value, and it also needs to invest time and energy every day. You also need some auxiliary learning materials to expand and upgrade on the basis of learning basic materials. The most commonly used textbook is Standard Day.
Third, the foundation of Japanese learning. In the process of learning Japanese, some people memorize words by rote, ignoring the basis of listening and speaking. Many students complain that they have memorized all the words, but they don't know what these words mean when the teacher is dictating or in the hall. That's because many students just memorize words, then cover the left side of the words in the textbook with the right side, and then repeat them repeatedly, feeling that the words are all memorized, which ignores the ability of the ear to capture information. Listen more when reciting words, and continue reading after the recording in the textbook.
Fourthly, it is difficult to know when to use Chinese characters when ignoring them in Japanese learning. As we all know, there are some China Chinese characters in Japanese. Because we all know the meaning of Chinese characters, it is easy for beginners to ignore the study of Chinese characters.
E. the role of the second-level certificate of Japanese proficiency test
(1) When recruiting foreign students, most Japanese universities are required to submit candidates' N 1 certificates as the basis of their language ability.
(2) Japanese universities require registered international students to submit proof of N 1 or N2.
(3) Japan requires relevant international exchanges or some labor importers to submit corresponding grade certificates.
(4) Some Japanese-funded enterprises in China require their job seekers to submit corresponding grade certificates.
(5) The certificates of N1,N2, N3, N4 and N5 are all valid for a long time.
JLPT (Japanese Proficiency Test) is a relatively complete test evaluation system established by Japan Foundation for International Exchange and Japan International Education Support Association in 1984.
Registration takes the form of online registration, and each test center does not accept registration matters. The level of Japanese proficiency test will be improved from Level 4 (Level 4, Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1, with Level 1 as the highest level) to Level 5 (N 1, N2, N3, N4, N5, N 1 as the highest level).
To apply for n2 level, you must learn at least the grammar of the first and second intermediate volumes of New Sino-Japanese Communication Standard Japanese and master at least 8,000 words. N 1 requires at least 12000 words.
(5) Is it useful for engineering majors to get a second-level certificate in Japanese?
The Japanese level test is divided into five levels (20 10 from N5 to N 1, from the original four to five).
F. what is the use of the Japanese proficiency test level 2 certificate?
It's no use going to college.
The second-level certificate for finding a job after graduation is basically a failure of the first-level certificate. That is to say, people who use Japanese as a foreign language have a broader road.
And this certificate has to be tested three times before it is official. .
G. What type of enterprise is the Japanese secondary certificate useful for?
I don't know what it's like for other personal systems to get Japanese level 2, but personally, I got Japanese level 2 more than a year ago, but I haven't found a job related to Japanese yet. To be precise, if I wasn't bored, I might not find a job now. You can't really find a good job unless you have CET-4 besides Grade-2 certificate, or you have many years of work experience or other skills certificates. Let's not talk about Japanese. Language is actually an auxiliary tool for other majors to find jobs. However, it is useless to have a certificate in Japanese, unless my spoken English is very good, and I am even worse. I wonder if it's bad luck. I didn't even have a chance to show my spoken English, because I didn't even have an interview for a Japanese-related job. So, my dear friend, think about it.
H. Excuse me, is the second-level certificate of Japanese translation useful?
If you want to get the second-level certificate of translation, you must first know what this certificate is for.
In our country, most professional posts (that is, "professional titles") adopt the evaluation and employment system. It will take you several years to graduate from college. After the specified number of years, you will have a series of junior titles. Then boil for a year, boil enough years, there will be intermediate titles; Then endure for one year, and when you have endured enough years, you will have a senior title; Then you will retire in a few years, and you may catch up with the delayed retirement, but it will only be a few more years.
However, at present, it seems that only the technical posts (titles) in the translation series need not be evaluated, and you don't have to work so hard. As long as you have the ability to get a certificate and work in state-owned enterprises and institutions and * * * organs, then you have the corresponding technical position (title), and you should be able to enjoy the salary of the corresponding technical position (title). Note that the premise must be that you work in state-owned enterprises and institutions and * * * organs. The second-level certificate of translation belongs to the intermediate level in technical posts, and it is the same level as a lecturer in a university or an engineer in a factory.
However, if you don't work in state-owned enterprises or institutions or * * * organs, this certificate will generally not have a substantive role, because in society, it mainly depends on your ability and doesn't pay much attention to the certificate. If you apply for a job, put "communication barrier-free" in the column of foreign language ability. If you really have the ability of "communication barrier-free", it will be more useful than any certificate you have taken.
The above comments are for reference only.
First, the gold content of Japan's second-class certificate now
There is no problem in outsourcing domestic secondary certificates. In Japan, it is easier to find some jobs with a second-class certificate, while others should be useless.
J. What is the use of Japanese n2 certificate?
After obtaining a Japanese certificate, you can find a job related to Japanese. At present, Japanese-related jobs require the lowest level of Japanese. And now learning Japanese is more practical, because there are far more Japanese companies in China than in other countries, and the employment prospects are promising.
Japanese proficiency test
Recommended grade:
Introduction: JLPT (Japanese Proficiency Test) was established by Japan Foundation for International Exchange and Japan International Education Support Association on 1984, initiated by Japan and implemented worldwide. At present, it has been recognized by the Ministry of Education in China and registered through the website of the Overseas Examination Center of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, the Japanese proficiency test is the most authoritative Japanese test in China. The new competency test is divided into five grades, from N 1-N5, where N 1 is the highest grade and N5 is the lowest grade. If you want to learn Japanese, you can button this skirt, starting with 478, ending with 932 and ending with 026. You can learn communication and download materials here.
Awareness: In Japan, Japanese Proficiency Test (JLPT) is used as the test standard for mastering Japanese from * * * departments to enterprises, and from public to private colleges. In China, Japanese companies or Japanese-related industries and positions will also take the Japanese proficiency test certificate as the standard when recruiting talents, and this certificate has even become a necessary certificate for Japanese-related talents to obtain employment.
For the crowd: all Japanese learners. Generally speaking, Japanese majors can take N2 in their sophomore year and N 1 in their junior year. If they teach themselves, they will pass N2 or N 1 within one year. It depends on their efforts.
Advantages: high awareness and authority, and can examine the overall level of Japanese mastery of candidates to a certain extent. Most provinces and cities in China have test sites, and there are relatively many places to apply.
Disadvantages: it is impossible to conduct a comprehensive survey of candidates' language application ability. Before the ability test, the way of setting questions was not flexible enough, and the rigid questions could not test the Japanese ability of candidates well. However, after the reform of 20 10, the way of setting questions has changed, and more attention has been paid to the investigation of basic and application ability. However, the proficiency test mainly tests four parts: vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and listening comprehension, all of which are multiple-choice questions. In terms of language application, oral English, translation and writing are not tested.
Registration and Examination Time: The registration time is different every year, mainly based on the information in official website. Take the exam twice a year. The examination time is July every year, the first Sunday of 65438+February.
Generally speaking, JLPT is an ancient, authoritative and developing examination. Although there are other competitors such as J.TEST, its position in the domestic Japanese exam is still not easy to be surpassed.
2.j. exams
Recommended grade:
Introduction to the exam: The full name of J.TEST is Practical Japanese Appraisal Examination (hereinafter referred to as J.TEST). In August 2007, it was approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. J.TEST entered China in March 2003. At present, perennial test sites have been established in famous universities in 20 provinces or municipalities directly under the central government.
J.TEST exam also provides Japanese talents for Shanghai Foreign Service Co., Ltd., the largest human resources company in China. Those who have achieved Grade C or above in the J.TEST exam will be given priority to log in to the talent pool of Shanghai Foreign Service Co., Ltd. and get the opportunity to recommend to the employer. A new employment platform has been built for J.TEST candidates.
Consciousness: The purpose of J.TEST is to provide Japanese talents for enterprises. Therefore, it has been widely recognized by many enterprises, especially Japanese-funded enterprises. It has provided a lot of help to people from all walks of life who want to take up their jobs.
Facing the crowd: test the Japanese ability of people whose mother tongue is not Japanese. School students, employees of the company, people who are going to study in Japan, go on business trips and want to work in Japanese-funded enterprises can all take the J.TEST The purpose is to understand their current Japanese level and clarify their future study goals. There is no academic requirement to participate in J.TEST, and the J.TEST certificate has no validity period.
Advantages:
1. Pay attention to practical ability and have a wide range of appraisal.
J.TEST has subjective questions, while JLPT mainly has objective questions.
2. High inspection frequency
6 times a year, the time is not fixed, subject to the release of official website. JLPT is twice a year, so it is difficult to register.
3. It is convenient for candidates to improve themselves.
Whether you do it or not, you will get a report card, answers and the percentage that you did it right. The test paper will also be taken home on the spot, which will help you review and improve. JLPT only knows the final result, and cannot get detailed information.
4. Multi-level examination system.
J. There are two kinds of exams: Advanced (A-D) and Elementary (E-F). There are 7 intermediate and advanced levels (A-D level). Elementary (E-F) is divided into two levels. Each test paper is graded according to the results. Candidates don't have to worry about which level to take, but the Japanese proficiency test must decide which level they are suitable for before registering.
Disadvantages: recognition is not able to test high, and the measurement standard of domestic enterprise recruitment is JLPT. General candidates take the JLPT exam first, and then take the J.TEST on the premise of obtaining the JLPT certificate.
JTEST reform: Business J.TEST is the latest practical Japanese appraisal test with business Japanese characteristics launched by J.TEST Bureau. The exam 1 will be held on March 20th113.
Suitable for people: for candidates with a score of 700 or above in J. Test or who have passed the Japanese proficiency test N 1= old 1. (The difficulty level is for candidates' reference only, and no relevant Japanese proficiency certificate is required when registering. )
The difference from J.TEST: J.TEST is a comprehensive test to test the Japanese practical ability necessary for daily life. While "Business J.TEST" focuses on testing the necessary Japanese ability and knowledge in the "workplace".
3.BJT Business Japanese Test
Recommended grade:
Facing the crowd: People engaged in Japanese business activities pay great attention to the practical application ability of the language.
Awareness: It is highly recognized among Japanese enterprises and can also be used as a language proficiency standard for studying abroad.
The main situation: the registration is not difficult, and the registration method and ability test are similar. In addition to individual registration, you can also accept enterprise group registration. 630 yuan. Exam once a year, time 120 minutes, level 6, 100 questions.
Disadvantages: "three highs and none" → high fees; High ability requirements; High directivity; There is no oral proficiency test. Therefore, it directly led to the level of retest scores. 20 10 was suspended due to funding problems, and 20 1 10 was resumed due to the pressure of Congress.
STBJ exam
Recommended grade:
Suitable for the crowd: for foreign employees working in Japanese enterprises or Japanese learners who want to work in Japanese enterprises.
Fame: the status is not as good as BJT, and few people know it. At present, training institutions are the main means of communication.
Main information: There are two exams a year, in April and the last Sunday of 10. Candidates who have reached the second level of Japanese are suitable for taking the exam.
Disadvantages: the popularity is too low, the recognition in Japanese enterprises is not high, and the test is of little use.
4. Shanghai Intermediate Japanese Interpretation Test
Recommended grade:
Introduction: Shanghai foreign language interpreter post qualification certificate training examination project is one of the high-level projects of Shanghai talent shortage training project, which is jointly established by the Organization Department of Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shanghai Personnel Bureau, Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Adult Education Commission. The exam is held twice a year. A Sunday in mid-March and mid-September is a comprehensive written test, and those who pass can take an oral test. Three weeks after the end of each written test, the written test time will be announced online, and the specific matters of oral test registration will be notified.
Recognition: Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai are authoritative, and Japanese enterprises have high recognition. In other places, such as Beijing, fewer people may know, and some enterprises will not use this as a criterion to judge the ability of candidates.
Facing the crowd: anyone can apply for the exam. However, due to its regional characteristics, compared with the national translation qualification examination, its regional restrictions are still relatively large.
Advantages: A comprehensive survey of the candidates' practical application level of Japanese (this exam can detect your practical application level of Japanese).
Orientation of Intermediate Interpretation Examination: On the basis of testing the comprehensive abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, the ability of oral expression and interpretation is highlighted. The written test is probably level 2. )
Orientation of advanced interpretation test: only oral test, not written test. Focus on testing interpretation ability.
Only those who pass the written test can take the oral test, and have four consecutive oral test opportunities, that is, they are valid within 2 years. If you pass the written test and the oral test at the same time, you can get the certificate of middle or high mouth.
Intermediate examination fee: written examination180; Oral test 180 yuan
Advanced examination fee: 390 yuan
Disadvantages: geographical restrictions are too large, and recognition and authority will be affected. And the test sites are all in Shanghai. Generally, people who want to work in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai will want to take this exam. So there are not as many candidates as the National Translation Qualification Examination.
Feedback from candidates: Many candidates find this exam very difficult. Before taking the exam, you may need to reach the first level of the Japanese proficiency test. Moreover, many candidates take the written test first, then practice oral English for two years, and then take the oral test. There are also many candidates who choose to participate because of the geographical limitations of JTEST.
5. National Translation Qualification Examination
Recommended grade:
Introduction: National Translation Professional Qualification Examination (CATTI). It's an exam organized by the personnel department. It is available in various languages. Held twice a year. The time is the last weekend of May and 65438+February respectively.
The exam is divided into four grades: advanced translation; First-level interpretation, translation and translation; Secondary interpretation, translation and translation; Three-level interpretation, translation translation.
Recognition: The examination certificate is valid nationwide, which indicates that the certificate holder has the corresponding professional qualification (level) and professional ability, and it is one of the necessary conditions for hiring translation professional and technical positions. However, the awareness of Japanese companies is not very high, and some Japanese companies don't even know that China has this exam. However, some Japanese companies pay special attention to employees who pass this exam. Generally speaking, it is still not as impactful as the Japanese proficiency test certificate.

The difficulty of Japanese proficiency test increases, and the gold content of certificate increases.
On July 22nd, a seminar on "New Japanese Proficiency Test" was held in Shanghai. The organizer of Japanese Proficiency Test (JLPT), Japanese Proficiency Test Center of Japan's Independent Administrative Corporation International Exchange Fund, deputy director Takako Shinozaki, deputy director researcher, Japanese research experts from Shajin Rinai and related universities in Beijing, representatives of training institutions in Shanghai and other relevant personnel attended the seminar.
The seminar discussed the 20 10 Japanese proficiency test and other related issues.
Although the previous competency test has also been adjusted accordingly, for example, the number of exams has increased from once a year to twice this year, but in July, the number of newly added exams was only at intermediate and advanced levels, namely N 1 and N2. Some people at the primary level still have only 1 reference opportunities every year.
Starting from 20 10, the Japanese proficiency test will enter the stage of substantive reform. Relevant rules will be announced soon.
The author learned from the seminar of "New Japanese Proficiency Test" in Shanghai on the 22nd that the 20 10 test will change in the following aspects.
1, change of test grade
The exam in July, 2065438+00, on the basis of keeping the original level unchanged, increased a new level, that is, increased N3. In the future, candidates can take the exams of N 1, N2 and N3 in July. The examination grades of 20 10 and 12 remain unchanged, and they are still carried out according to the five grades of the original reform plan. That is, N 1, N2, N3, N4 and N5.
2. The examination time will be shortened correspondingly on the original basis.
3. The score ratio will be adjusted. The biggest change is in the listening part. The score of listening will go up sharply. The ratio will increase from 1/4 to 1/3.
4. Starting from 20 10, each part of the Japanese proficiency test will provide specific scoring benchmarks. If the candidate does not reach the benchmark score of each part, it is difficult to obtain a certificate of qualification no matter how high the total score is. This indicates that the listening part will become very important in the future. For China students, due to the lack of necessary language environment, listening is often the weakness of candidates. In previous exams, this phenomenon often happened. Although some candidates have corresponding certificates, when they look at the individual items, they will find that they often fail in the listening part, and some even get only 20 or 30 points. Grading items are often relatively simple words, grammar and reading comprehension. Starting from 20 10, this so-called serious imbalance of language ability will be less. The gold content of Japanese proficiency test certificate will also be greatly improved.
Having a Japanese proficiency test certificate in the future will help students to study abroad and find a job better.
