Think carefully about why I don't know what I have done every year in recent years. Although I have done a lot of things, are these moving me towards my goals? Or what Ye Wubin described in his book: Busy, Left Heart, Right Death, Give up.
Last year, I read a book that I should have read a long time ago: Qian Qian the Dog. One idea in it caught my attention, that is, wish. First of all, you should know what kind of person you want to be, remind yourself every day, and even make a mobile phone screen. Over time, you will find that you have really worked hard in that direction, and gradually, you will become that kind of person. Wishes and dreams are simple things, but how many people live in dreams every day in today's society? Most of us don't know our future direction, so we will often be confused, at a loss, and even waste time and give up on ourselves.
Is it okay to have a dream? Of course not, because dreams are high above the ground and must be landed to truly become a reality. Metaphorically speaking, I ching means that dreams are like divination, and a gentleman strives for self-improvement. Dreams can be unconstrained, because dreams are God, high above them. Doing divination requires the cooperation of Kun divination, that is, the terrain is Kun, and the gentleman carries things with virtue. Without the close cooperation of Kungua, just like without the support of grassroots, no matter how big the dream is, it is also a fantasy. If you want to realize your dream, you must cooperate with Kun, and your dream must come true.
I think the time management advocated by teacher Ye Wubin is to teach us how to realize our dreams.
So Teacher Ye put forward two triangles, one is the visual triangle and the other is the action triangle. The vision triangle is a dream, high above it, and the action triangle is a concrete implementation and down-to-earth cooperation. Only by making good use of these two triangles can we truly realize our dreams.
First, let's talk about the visual triangle. The three corners of the vision triangle are vision, concern and project. It can be seen from here that the sublime thing of vision has gradually dropped to the project, and the project has been very grounded, and we can digest it with the action triangle. What is a vision? Vision is what you want to be. For example, you want to live a happy life every day, which is a vision.
After we understand the concerns, we need to further realize them in the project. For example, the concern for physical health can be further specific to diet, fitness, physical examination and other projects. For example, learning can also be specific to which books to learn and so on. At the project level, our vision is completely concrete, and we know what projects need to be done to realize our vision. In fact, the completion of these projects is also the best measure to finally test your performance.
How to put the project into action efficiently? Teacher Ye emphasized the listing of projects.
In short, first of all, you should understand the goal of this project and the effect you expect to achieve.
For example, the goal of fitness can be to have a good figure. I hope I can lose weight 10kg, run 5 kilometers easily, and my physical indicators can reach the standard.
With goals and expectations, you can brainstorm. What do we need to do to achieve our goal? We can think about many things, such as studying related books, setting ourselves daily exercise goals, running at least four times a week, each time not less than 2 kilometers, learning warm-up exercises before running, finding a suitable software supervisor, finding a group of friends to supervise each other, standing up and walking in the office every two hours, drinking water eight times a day and so on. In this step of brainstorming, we can make a list without thinking, regardless of the order, whether it is reasonable or not, regardless of the size of the matter.
With these brainstorming lists, it means that we have first-hand materials, and the next step is to process these materials. That's the result of sorting out brainstorming. You can filter out some unreasonable ones and then sort out the list in an orderly way.
After sorting out, the most crucial step is to find out the next step.
Anything complicated, no matter how complicated, can find the next step. With the next step, we can get closer to that complicated goal.
I'm trying to make a list of things I do myself. I wake up every day to see a series of things to do. I find that I can easily define what I want to do in a day. I no longer think that I am wasting time every day. Even if there are some unfinished lists, I won't be unhappy. I clearly see what I should do in a day and what I have accomplished. Every day is compact and full. I think the advantage of going public is that you won't get lost. Once I can determine what I need to do, my whole life will be in order.
Teacher Ye also has unique skills in the process of listing: simplifying the complex, simplifying the complex, and simplifying the complex.
I feel benefited a lot. Here's a simple thing to repeat. For example, if we do simple things like having a haircut and cutting our nails repeatedly, for example, having a haircut every month and cutting our nails every Sunday, our life will be more orderly. It won't happen again Suddenly one day I looked in the mirror and found that my hair was so long. It seems that I really need a haircut. If you happen to be busy that day and don't have time for a haircut, you may miss a day, which will affect the normal pace of work and life.
Repetition of simple things can make you more calm when facing things.
What is really put into action is the triangle of action. The three corners of the action triangle are collecting, sorting and checking.
Collecting is collecting everything you want to do. Collection has two meanings. The first is to liberate the brain.
Take a computer for example. Our brain is like a cpu, which is suitable for processing operations and not for storage. If we keep all the things we need to do in our brains, it will reduce the efficiency of our brains. For example, I just got a call. My cousin came to see you at 5 o'clock on Saturday night and needed to meet you at the train station. If this information is not recorded in time, it will always be in my brain. When you do anything, my brain will always think about it. I have something to do next Saturday. Don't forget, what time is it at night? Four o'clock? I don't think so. Is that five o'clock? ... so that the brain can't concentrate on what it should do, and obviously efficiency is affected. The correct way is to write down any thoughts and things as soon as possible after we have them, so as to release our brain, let it concentrate on processing and leave the recorded things to other tools!
The second meaning of collection is actually to provide material for the next action. The so-called clever woman cannot cook without rice. Without this step, how do you know what you want to do?
With a collection, it is equivalent to having raw materials. Next, we can process, screen and classify these raw materials. This is what you need to do to sort out this step. In this step, we can filter the collected raw materials, because there are many things that may be done, but what are the things that really move towards our vision? Of course, these things should be given priority! So when should these things be handled? Some things have definite time points, but some things are flexible. We can allocate time for these flexible lists.
The last step is to check. With the collection and arrangement, a closed loop has not yet been formed. If we want to truly become a closed loop, we must have a feedback mechanism, that is, we need to constantly reflect on ourselves and check whether our collection has really achieved our expectations. Is it consistent with vision concerns and projects? Find your own advantages and disadvantages in the inspection, so as to constantly improve your own system and make yourself more and more handy.
Here, the vision is gradually on the list. We know very well that the task of completing the list is to keep moving forward with dreams, so how should we eliminate the list?
Teacher Ye mentioned the method of eating frogs and pomodoro technique. Frog is the most difficult and tricky list task to complete every day. We should do some such work. An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening. What a wonderful day it would be if we could kill three frogs in the morning. How do frogs eat? Pomodoro technique is recommended, because we need more attention when eating frogs, and pomodoro technique is the best way to improve our attention.
Pomodoro technique emphasized that 25 minutes is devoted to one thing, and there is a 5-minute break in the middle. This cycle is called tomato. Make sure that we are not interrupted by external events for 25 minutes, so that we can concentrate on one thing in 25 minutes. Natural efficiency will be improved, and this method is very suitable for eating frogs.
If we insist on eating three frogs from pomodoro technique every morning for a period of time, our efficiency will be greatly improved.
Finally, I want to talk about the core of easy performance time management. Teacher Ye proposed a Taoist instrument.
"Tao" is the direction, and I think it can be understood as the goal you want to achieve, which is the vision. How to realize the vision? That is, "surgery" is the method. Specifically, it is the visual triangle and the action triangle mentioned above. A good method must have good tools. Now is the electronic age, and all our things can be managed through mobile phones and other terminals. For example, the list record mentioned above can be recorded by using the mobile phone software omifocus. This is the tool, that is, the "device". I use my Android phone, and I manage myself with todolist and Evernote. Finally, "using" means constantly using this system to manage yourself, form your own system, and constantly upgrade your own Taoist instruments.
19, I hope to enrich my life with a useful system!
