Nankai is good. Department of Japanese Language and Literature of Nankai University was formally established 1997. Its predecessor was the Japanese Language and Literature Department founded in 1972, with Professor Wang Jianyi as the first dean and Associate Professor Wang Zhiying as the vice president. The department has an undergraduate major in Japanese language and literature, which enrolls 40 students in two classes every year, as well as international students, advanced students and auditor students. The Master of Japanese Language and Literature Research Department, which has the right to award master's degrees, recruits six students from three research directions of Japanese language, literature and culture every year, and at the same time recruits on-the-job graduate students.
