In order to strengthen the construction of teachers in colleges and universities and cultivate a group of academic leaders and academic backbones, according to the Ministry of Education's "Implementation Measures for the Domestic Visiting Scholars Program for Young Backbone Teachers in Colleges and Universities" (No.8 [2004] of UNESCO) and "Notice on Doing a Good Job of Visiting Scholars in China for 201Young Backbone Teachers in Colleges and Universities" (No.9 [2065438] of UNESCO)

I. Accepted objects and conditions:

1. In-service college teachers who have been engaged in teaching and scientific research for more than five years in domestic ordinary colleges and universities have good political quality, strong professionalism and good professional ethics.

2. The applicant should be a reserve force or a young backbone teacher in the selection of school academic leaders, with solid basic theory and professional knowledge, strong teaching and scientific research ability, able to teach main courses, and independently presided over or participated in the whole process of research and achieved results.

3. Persons with professional and technical positions in the subtropical high school or above should, in principle, have a master's degree or have received postgraduate education, and the age is generally not more than 40 years old. For outstanding young teachers with outstanding innovation ability and training potential, they can be appropriately relaxed as: teachers with professional and technical positions above the subtropical high school but under the age of 45, or lecturers with master's degree or above under the age of 40.

II. Accepting the names of majors and disciplines (see the website of Wuhan Teacher Training and Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education)

Third, the application steps:

(1) individual application. Applicants are required to fill in the "Recommendation Form for Domestic Visiting Scholars of Young Key Teachers in National Colleges and Universities" in duplicate. The selected school teacher management department shall sign the recommendation form, report it to the provincial education administrative department for signature and official seal, and send it to the office.

(2) The opinions signed by the tutor. The office will contact the tutor in time after receiving the recommendation form, and ask the tutor to review and sign the admission opinion.

(3) After the approval of the office, send the admission notice before the summer vacation of that year.

4. Deadline for application: June 30th of that year.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) Visit duration and study requirements: Visit duration is one academic year. Visiting scholars should, under the guidance of their tutors, formulate a training plan focusing on participating in scientific research through consultation, and assist tutors to guide graduate students and participate in course teaching, counseling or other teaching work.

6. Inspection and completion: During the visit, visiting scholars must fill in the Mid-term Checklist for Domestic Visiting Scholars of Young Key Teachers in Colleges and Universities; Visiting scholars shall fill in the Graduation Approval Form for Domestic Visiting Scholars of Young Key Teachers in Colleges and Universities before the end of the visiting semester, and submit the scientific research achievements and their supporting materials during the visit. After passing the examination by the tutor and our office, Wuhan University will issue the Certificate of Domestic Visiting Scholars supervised by the Ministry of Education.
