Can village doctors in Henan really "turn positive" through exams next year?
It is reported that from next year, rural doctors can be included in the grassroots backbone training system as long as they have obtained the qualifications of practicing doctors or practicing assistant doctors.

According to the regulations of Henan province, from 20 18 onwards, rural doctors in Henan province can apply for rural general assistant doctors and obtain the qualification of rural general assistant doctors. After registration, they can get the qualification to see general diseases while working in township hospitals and village clinics, and have the right to make prescriptions independently. At the same time, people who have obtained the qualifications of assistant doctors in rural general practice can subsequently obtain the qualifications of assistant doctors and practicing doctors.

It is reported that there are not too many restrictions on the age of assistant doctors who apply for general practice in rural areas, but applicants are required to work in township hospitals (including on-the-job and temporary employees) or village clinics (holding the practice license of rural doctors and the practice license of medical institutions in village clinics) for 1 year and pass the examination. In addition, it meets the academic requirements (technical secondary school or above) for applying for the qualification of doctors in clinical or traditional Chinese medicine categories in the "Regulations on Registration Qualification for Physician Qualification Examination (Version 20 14)".
