Private full-time undergraduate colleges approved by the Ministry of Education are the construction units awarded master's degrees in Guangdong Province and the new station units of doctoral workstations in Guangdong Province. The school is located in Guangzhou, and its motto is Zhang Zhenchao, secretary of the Party Committee, and Wang Rihua, president, until May 2022 12. The school has two campuses in Huadu, Guangzhou and Sanshui, Foshan, 12 experimental teaching center, 14 teaching unit, 30 undergraduate majors and 2 key disciplines with provincial characteristics.
It has four provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, four provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors, two provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, two provincial college students' practical teaching bases, two provincial teachers' teaching development centers and two provincial curriculum teaching and research offices. The predecessor of Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial College is 1995 invested by Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Trading Co., Ltd., and the predecessor of Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial College is Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Business College invested by Guangzhou Huadu Yang Huan Trading Co., Ltd.

In 20 14 years, the college won the top 10 competitiveness of private higher vocational education in Guangdong province for ten consecutive years. In 2009, the school passed the evaluation of Guangdong's talent training level, set up junior colleges and technicians in 20 10, and won the title of the top ten well-known brand private universities in China in 2010/year. The school was rated as the national advanced collective of private education by the China Teacher Development Foundation of the Ministry of Education. In May, 20 14, the school was successfully upgraded to an undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and was renamed Guangzhou Institute of Technology and Business.
In 20 15, the school added four undergraduate majors: business English, business administration, accounting and financial management. In 20 16, the school added five undergraduate majors: international economy and trade, marketing, Japanese, visual communication design and music performance. In 2000, the school was renamed Guangzhou Yang Huan College 200 1. In July, Huadu College of Guangdong University of Commerce was established in cooperation with Guangdong University of Commerce, becoming a secondary college of Guangdong University of Commerce.
