Zhejiang Highway Technician College provides junior college education, and there are also secondary specialized schools. Zhejiang Highway Technician College, formerly known as Zhejiang Highway Machinery Technician School, was founded in 1978 and belongs to Zhejiang Provincial Communications Department and Provincial Highway Administration Bureau. Over the past 30 years, the college has been successively rated as a national key technical school, a-level professional school of the Ministry of Communications, an advanced unit of vocational education in the province, and an education and training base for outstanding employees in the province. In July 2007, it was approved to establish a technical college on the basis of Zhejiang Highway Machinery Technical School. Zhejiang Highway Technician College, founded in 1978, is a traffic technician college which mainly trains high-skilled talents such as roads and bridges, construction machinery, automobiles and logistics, and integrates academic education, staff training, examination and skill appraisal. The College is located in Hangzhou, which is located in the West Lake Scenic Area with rich humanities and beautiful scenery. It is adjacent to Beifeng in the south, Xixi Wetland in the north and Zhejiang University in the east, with convenient transportation and pleasant environment. The college now covers an area of about 80 mu, with a construction area of nearly 50,000 square meters. Training facilities and equipment are in a leading position among similar institutions in China. Qingshan Lake Science and Technology City Campus under construction covers an area of 270 mu with a building area of165438+6000m2. It will be planned and built into a modern campus, a smart campus, a humanistic campus and a characteristic campus with complete facilities. The college is backed by Laodongyue Group, facing Xixi River and adjacent to Zhejiang University. The college covers an area of nearly 85 mu, with a building area of over 40,000 square meters. At present, there are more than 2,200 students, more than 70 faculty members/kloc-0, 5 teachers with master's degrees, 60% with senior titles, and 39% with professional titles and technical grade certificates. There are more than ten majors in highway engineering, construction machinery, logistics management, rail transit, automobile inspection and maintenance. Up to now, more than 20,000 qualified graduates have been delivered to the transportation system of the whole province.
