First, the necessity of continuing education for nursing staff
I have been engaged in nursing for nearly 30 years. From clinical nursing, nursing management to nursing education, I have experienced the nursing development process of functional nursing, holistic nursing and humanized nursing. Whether from the macro perspective of nursing team or the micro perspective of nursing staff's business development, it fully embodies and verifies an idea: the continuing education of nursing staff is not only a necessary way for the development of nursing team, but also an important shortcut for the growth and improvement of nursing staff themselves, and the concept of lifelong education will surely run through the career of nursing staff.
1. Today is 2 1 century. With the rapid development of nursing science and technology, new nursing theories and knowledge emerge one after another. Therefore, keeping pace with the times and lifelong learning is a wise choice for nurses.
2. The update of nursing knowledge and technology urges nurses to recharge their batteries and solve new problems with new knowledge.
3. The rapid development of medical science and technology and the new health concept put forward higher requirements for the knowledge structure of nursing staff. Constantly learning new knowledge is an important event to improve the quality of nursing staff and ensure the quality of nursing, which is of great significance to nursing staff and even hospitals.
4. The extension and development of nursing knowledge and the implementation of holistic nursing require nurses to master many aspects of knowledge such as humanities, social sciences, law, ethics, psychology and interpersonal communication. The acquisition of this knowledge depends on the continuing education of nurses to improve their knowledge structure and adapt to the development of nursing.
Modern nursing is developing towards specialist nurses to general nurses, which puts forward higher requirements for nurses' knowledge structure. Continuing nursing education provides a platform for nurses to constantly learn and train to update their knowledge.
Second, the way of continuing education for nursing staff
1. According to the actual needs of nursing technicians in different specialties, pay attention to the pertinence, practicality and advancement of education, and transform the basic, typical and advanced knowledge with the actual diversification, complexity, integration and change conditions to improve the judgment, evaluation and thinking ability of nursing staff.
2. According to the structure and characteristics of nursing staff, different levels and different requirements of stratified continuing education are adopted: nursing staff are composed of people with different academic qualifications and professional titles. Their work experience, knowledge structure, technical level and working ability are different, and they play different roles in nursing work and have different demands for continuing nursing education. In order to maintain the regularity of continuing education, realize everyone's participation, learn from each other's strengths and ensure the effect of continuing education, we must give full play to the strengths and advantages of nursing staff at all levels.
(1) For head nurses and nurses with intermediate or above titles, we should focus on learning new theories, new knowledge, new technologies and new methods, consolidate and improve our theoretical knowledge, and master specialist nursing theories and technologies skillfully. Cultivate the ability to solve difficult problems, guide the care of critically ill patients, formulate and implement nursing plans and health education plans, improve the level of nursing rounds and nursing management, and make them play a key role in management, teaching, clinical and scientific research.
(2) In addition to participating in various academic activities, going out for further study and other studies, senior nurses with high academic qualifications should also undertake teaching work, participate in nursing scientific research and thesis writing training, improve nurses' awareness of participation, enhance their consciousness of active learning, and further improve their self-study ability.
(3) Nurses are the backbone of the nursing team, full of energy and curiosity, and their academic qualifications focus on professional frontier science. And mainly through the training of professional subjects, master professional knowledge and become the leader of this major.
(4) Junior nurses are young, active in thinking and quick to accept new things. Their education should focus on improving their practical operation ability, consolidating their professional ideas, and doing a good job in training the combination of "three basics" and clinical practice, so that they can master basic nursing operation techniques and understand specialist nursing theories and skills.
(5) Training of employed and contracted nurses: At present, most hospitals employ and contract nurses, and the training and education of these nurses is particularly important. Education should focus on pre-job training, consolidate the professional nursing knowledge learned in school and apply it to nursing practice, cultivate independent working ability, gradually master basic nursing operation techniques, and understand specialist nursing theory and skills.
