The assessment categories are clinical, traditional Chinese medicine (including traditional Chinese medicine, ethnic medicine and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine), oral and public health. The regular assessment of doctors takes two years as a cycle.
The assessment results are divided into qualified and unqualified. If the work performance, professional ethics and business level are unqualified in an assessment or evaluation, it is unqualified.
Doctors who have passed the standardized training of residents or passed the examination of professional and technical positions at the next higher level according to the regulations during the examination period can be regarded as qualified in the examination of professional level, and only their work performance and professional ethics are assessed during the examination.
If the assessed doctor disagrees with the assessment results, he may apply for review to the assessment institution within 30 days from the date of receiving the assessment results. The assessment institution shall, within 30 days from the date of receiving the application for review, review the assessment results of doctors and notify the doctors themselves in writing of the review opinions.
