Li Bin Technician College is the main base of the employee skill competition named "Li Bin Cup" held by Shanghai Electric every year. The combination of competition and training has played an important role in promoting the construction of high-skilled and high-quality talent team of Shanghai Electric Group. Up to now, nearly 8,000 people have participated in the six competitions, and more than 50% of them have improved their skills through competitions. In 2008, "Shanghai Electric' Li Bin Cup' Employee Skills Competition" was rated as the top ten brands of employee quality engineering in Shanghai by Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions.

Our college has successively undertaken the training tasks of Shanghai team in the national workers' skills competition of turning, pliers and milling, Shanghai team in the "Zhenxing Cup" national youth vocational skills competition, the national team in the numerical control operation competition, the second national workers' vocational skills competition in 2007 and the third national workers' (senior workers') skills competition, and won the second place in the national workers' vocational skills competition in 2006, winning glory for Shanghai.

From June 5438 to February 2008, the final of the "Li Bin Cup" National CNC Machine Tool Assembly and Maintenance Skills Competition for Machinery Industry Workers, sponsored by the National Committee of China Machinery Metallurgical Building Materials Union and China Machinery Industry Federation, and co-sponsored by Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation, Shanghai Electromechanical Union and Shanghai Electric Li Bin Technician College, was successfully held in our hospital. There are 34 contestants from 9 enterprises 1 1 teams in the national machinery industry in this competition. In the competition, Shanghai Electric won 1, 3 rd and 5 th respectively, and Shanghai Electric Team won the first place in the total score of the group. On June 5438+ 10, 2009, the final of the third national vocational skills competition for employees was held in Li Bin Technician College. The final of CNC machine tool assembly and adjustment repairman is the first national competition of this type of work, and it is also the one with the highest technical content and the most difficult organization among the eight types of work in the third national vocational skills competition for employees. * * * There were 54 contestants from 18 provinces and cities in the final stage of the "Li Bin Cup" CNC machine tool assembly and adjustment repairman in the third national vocational skills competition for workers. In order to explore the training law of knowledge-based high-skilled talents, strengthen the development and research of various training majors, and better reflect the positioning and characteristics of Shanghai Electric Technician College, according to the demand of our city's industrial development for high-skilled talents, the college set out to set up CNC Technology Studio, Jindehua Electrician Technology Studio, Welding Technology Studio, Li Large CNC Operation Studio and so on named after the chief technician of Shanghai Electric (Group) Company.

The college takes the studio as the carrier, giving full play to the demonstration effect of individual model workers and the team effect of scientific and technological personnel, giving full play to the professional expertise and innovation ability of studio members, actively participating in the technical research of large-scale projects of enterprises and serving enterprises. Li Bin Technician College of Shanghai Electric Co., Ltd. actively participated in supporting vocational education in the central and western regions, and jointly run schools with foreign universities such as Shanxi Traffic Technician College, Shanxi Wanrong Technician College, Shanxi Xinghua Vocational College, and Henan Kaifeng Radio and TV University to carry out CNC vocational and technical education.
