Good afternoon everyone! My name is * *, and I come from the Red Cross Society of Qingdao Vocational and Technical College. I am very happy to be with you today, and I am deeply honored for this.

First of all, please allow me to proudly introduce my college-Qingdao Vocational and Technical College. Qingdao Vocational and Technical College is a provincial full-time college. The College was established on the basis of the former Qingdao Staff University in June 5438+ 10, 2000, and merged with the former Qingdao Institute of Education in April 2002 to form a new Qingdao Vocational and Technical College. The college focuses on full-time higher vocational education and social vocational skills training, taking into account adult education, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools and the training of primary and secondary school teachers and principals, and is qualified to accept foreign students and hire foreign cultural and educational experts. At present, there are three campuses in the west, south and middle schools, covering an area of 540,000 square meters, with 774 teaching staff and 8,940 full-time vocational students, and nearly 10,000 people complete various trainings every year. There are 8 secondary colleges including Haier College, Software and Service Outsourcing College, Biochemical College, Tourism and International College, Management College, Logistics College, Song Jia International Art College and Education College. Under the correct leadership of Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and the strong support from all walks of life, the College has implemented the school-running concept of "teaching and educating people, applying what they have learned", adhered to the school motto of "cultivating ability and applying what they have learned", established the talent training mode of "combining work with study" and carried forward the college spirit of "Excellence, competence, cooperation and learning". It has formed the reform results of teaching or education modes such as "five basic processes", "three standards" and "three innovative platforms" for college students. After years of efforts, reform and innovation, the college has played an increasingly prominent role in Qingdao's economic and social development. It has successively become the backbone demonstration vocational and technical college in Shandong Province, the first "excellent president of national vocational education", the advanced unit of national vocational education and the first batch of national demonstration vocational colleges.

Our school attaches great importance to the construction of the Red Cross Society and established the Red Cross Society of Qingdao Vocational and Technical College with the approval of the Youth League Committee in 2004. It has been established for six years. At present, there are 725 Red Cross volunteers. The Red Cross Society of our hospital has won the honorary title of advanced collective of unpaid blood donation in Qingdao for many times, and won the promotion award of unpaid blood donation in Qingdao and the special contribution award of the Red Cross work. As a grass-roots organization of China Red Cross, it is engaged in humanitarian social relief work and has become a right-hand man for our school to carry out spiritual civilization construction, patriotism education, internationalism education, school health education and humanitarian social services. The Red Cross Society takes carrying forward the humanitarian spirit as its basic purpose, takes "carrying forward humanity, advocating dedication, exercising oneself and serving others" as its working policy, and advocates "humanity, fraternity, dedication and spirit". Accept the leadership of Qingdao Red Cross Society and work independently under the direct leadership and management of the Youth League Committee.

The Red Cross system in our school includes general rules, members, tasks, organizations, awards, signs, emblems, flags and supplementary provisions, covering all aspects of the Red Cross rules and regulations, and is the institutional guarantee for the smooth development of the Red Cross.

From the day I entered the Red Cross and became an official, I was deeply honored to join this organization. Under the leadership of seniors and sisters, we participated in and held many love activities, and each time, we benefited a lot.

Blood donation has been a characteristic routine activity of the Red Cross in our hospital for many years. Two contemporary college students, Wang Kai (the first donor of college students' unrelated hematopoietic stem cells in Shandong Province) and Wang Tiantian (the second donor of college students' unrelated hematopoietic stem cells in Shandong Province), have emerged one after another, which has driven students in our college to participate in public welfare undertakings and played a good demonstration role in society. On June 30, 2009, despite the heavy rain, 290 people donated 82,350 ml of blood, including 60 students with leukemia, and Zeng Qingyao donated 20,600 ml of blood for free. Our hospital actively participates in various activities organized by the Municipal Red Cross Society. Among them, the backbone volunteers of the Red Cross Society of our hospital participated in the Red Cross cultural propaganda volunteer training course held by the Qingdao Red Cross Society in Qingdao, and successively established the Red Cross cultural propaganda volunteer team. Forty students in our hospital participated in the "Red Cross primary ambulance knowledge training" and obtained the certificate of primary ambulance. As an exception, our hospital was included in the first batch of pilot units of Qingdao Red Cross emergency rescue system. The Red Cross Society of our hospital regularly trains volunteers in primary ambulance knowledge to strengthen their medical knowledge and skills. According to the characteristics of the college, the Red Cross Volunteer Month series activities were carried out, and the publicity activities of "Curbing AIDS and Caring for Life" were carried out in Xiangjiang Road Community, with 108 teachers and students participating. "Red Cross Volunteer Symposium and Exchange Meeting" was held one after another. At the symposium, volunteers trained the participants in simple rescue measures. Volunteer in the nursing home in Huangdao Development Zone every year. Actively publicize the knowledge of the Red Cross in the college, strengthen the education of patriotism and internationalism, organize "Study and Practice Scientific Outlook on Development-Red Cross Work Symposium", organize "I would like to be a Red Cross Volunteer" speech contest, carry out the primary rescue exchange activities of the Red Cross Care Week, and hold the primary rescue competition of the Red Cross Care Week. And actively carry forward the humanitarian spirit of the Red Cross, organized many donation activities for sick students in our hospital, such as donating a "dust love card" for Zeng Qingyao, a leukemia patient in our hospital, and a series of activities. The Red Cross Society of our hospital pays attention to the society and promotes the spirit of humanity and fraternity. During the Wenchuan earthquake, actively organized donation activities. On May 12, 2009, the first "Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day" in China, the Red Cross Society of our college and the College Student Volunteers Association carried out a series of related activities on May 12. The college organized more than 450 volunteers to hold candles in the library square of our college to mourn the victims. A symposium with the theme of "Smile", a poster exhibition with the theme of "Post-disaster reconstruction, we will walk with you" and an essay activity with the theme of "Mourning, Gratitude, Cherishing Life, Learning to survive, Rebuilding Home and Hope" have been held successively. And went to the Xiangjiang Road community to carry out disaster relief and emergency rescue publicity activities. June 22, 2009 10, 2009, a publicity campaign to pay attention to students' health, strengthen students' awareness of preventing swine flu and carry forward the spirit of Red Cross volunteers.
