Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a public full-time ordinary college founded by state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Hubei Provincial Health Department and Jingzhou Municipal People's Government with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is the training center for rural doctors in Hubei Province, the first college of traditional Chinese medicine in China, and the propaganda and education base of traditional Chinese medicine culture in Hubei Province. The school is located in Jingzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, with an area of 735 mu and a building area of more than 300,000 square meters. It has complete teaching functions, advanced equipment, beautiful environment and convenient transportation.

The school integrates medical education, scientific research and clinic, highlights the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, and coordinates the development of Chinese and Western medicine and medical care. The school has seven departments: basic education department, basic medicine department, Chinese medicine department, medical department, nursing department, continuing education department and technical secondary school department. We have a team of "double-qualified" teachers with high academic level, reasonable title structure, strong teaching ability and rich practical experience. The school attaches great importance to practical teaching, has three affiliated hospitals and a provincial standardized medical experimental animal center, and has established clinical practice bases in more than 40 hospitals nationwide.

With three-year general specialties as the main body, the school now offers thirteen general specialties, including clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, rehabilitation treatment technology (rehabilitation direction of traditional Chinese medicine), medical beauty technology (beauty direction of traditional Chinese medicine), traditional Chinese medicine, pharmaceutical technology of traditional Chinese medicine, drug operation and management, nursing, midwifery, medical electronic instruments and maintenance, and enrolls students for 3 1 provinces and cities nationwide. Hubei Rural Doctor Training Center is located in this school and undertakes the training task of rural doctors in the whole province.
