The basic skills of excavator operation are as follows:

First of all, we should observe the geological conditions and surrounding environment of the working face, and there should be no obstacles within the turning radius of the excavator.

After the excavator enters the construction site, the driver must first observe the geological conditions and surrounding environment of the working face. There should be no obstacles within the rotating radius of the excavator to avoid scratching or damaging the vehicle. After the machine is started, no one is allowed to stand in the bucket, shovel arm and crawler to ensure safe production.

During excavator operation, it is forbidden for anyone to stay or walk within the radius of gyration or under the bucket. Non-drivers are not allowed to walk in the cab, nor are they allowed to train drivers to avoid damaging electrical equipment. When the excavator shifts gears, the driver should observe first, and whistle before shifting gears, so as to avoid safety accidents caused by someone on the machine side.

The shifted position must ensure that the turning radius of the excavator is not hindered, and illegal operation is strictly prohibited.

When "gear shifting" occurs when driving uphill, the gear can be set to low gear or first gear, and stop at the top of the slope to troubleshoot; If the downshift is unsuccessful or the gear jump occurs again, stop according to the essentials and requirements of slope parking and troubleshoot.

If there is a gear jump when driving downhill, the gear should be set to a high gear according to the gear shifting essentials or preventive measures, and the standby unit should be driven to the bottom of the slope before driving. Stop checking and troubleshooting.

Due to the large size of the excavating arm, it is difficult to take reliable and effective heating and insulation measures. After welding, the hardened zone of the base metal around the weld can not be completely removed, which leads to the decrease of weld strength: the excavator has a large vibration impact during operation, and the uneven stress on the weld will lead to weld cracking.
