There is no examination for the title of welding engineer in China, and you can have your own appointed welding responsibility engineer in the unit quality assurance system. If you are old enough, you can evaluate intermediate titles and related ones, such as cost engineer (3-5 years), international welding engineer (IWE Europe) and welding inspector (CWI America). IWE is a company in Harbin, China, but it can authorize other cities, such as Shanghai Jiaotong University, to conduct training and examinations. Is CWI currently training and taking exams in Shanghai? If the cost is above 5000, the latter is about 1W, and the standard system is different. If you graduate from undergraduate course, you don't need to evaluate assistant engineers. The unit will do it for you. Welding requires solid business knowledge and comprehensive experience. After 3-5 years in the manufacturing industry, those with good income can go to non-state-owned enterprises, especially those with good foreign languages can go to a third party for certification.
