1962 studied under Mr. Liu Daoxin, an expert in orthopedics and traumatology at China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and became the inheritor of Liu's Shaolin Bonesetting School;

1968 studied under Mr. Cheng, Director of Orthopedics, Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

After 1987, he successively edited (deputy editor-in-chief) such monographs as Diagnosis and Treatment of Bone and Joint, China Needle-Knife Therapy, Trinity Therapy, Blade Acupuncture Therapy, Tian Modern Massage Therapy Collection, Bone Surgery Research, Blade Acupuncture Minimally Invasive Therapy, etc., and compiled Surgery of Liu Daoxin's Academia Sinica. Spinal balance therapy, sequential therapy for neck, shoulder, back and leg pain, ideas and methods for diagnosis and treatment of cervical spondylosis, ideas and methods for diagnosis and treatment of lumbar disc herniation, practical anatomy of limb joints and soft tissues, specific acupuncture therapy and other teaching materials, as well as publishing more than 50 professional papers and popular science articles.
