Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded by state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Jiangxi Provincial People's Government.

The history of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine can be traced back to 195 1 Jiangxi Pharmaceutical College and 1953 Jiangxi School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
