Time went back to one year ago, April 20th, 20021year was my last day in Ali. Although I have a fixed work station, due to the nature of my work, I spend most of my time at the customer's site, so I don't have any personal belongings, so I packed them quickly. I chatted with some friends in the park for a while, and the resignation procedure was quick. At the moment I quit nailing, I saw the greeting message sent by HR, but I was grateful because I didn't have time to reply.
My friend took me to hangzhou east railway station and boarded the train to Shanghai. /kloc-I entered the workplace in 0/5 years and changed five jobs. There is no gap in each job. I often leave this Friday and join the new company next Monday. I'm used to this rhythm, too. I read an interesting passage recently-imagine your life as two highways, one representing what you are good at and the other representing what you really like to do. Now, imagine the intersection of these two highways: your happiness and your ability have crossed. Yes, this intersection is the ideal place for you to build your career. I am very lucky. Every part of my work is on a similar track, and I am doing what I want to do.
April 2 1 is my first day at Capgemini, just in time for the company's training. Consultants of consulting companies spend most of their time working on the customer's site, and the scene of "getting together" will only appear in important internal meetings or training. On the first day, I met many new friends and felt different enthusiasm. I don't remember the specific content of the training, but it is generally related to soft skills: through a simple gender assessment, I can find out what needs attention in my work. The conclusion is that my personality is humanistic, and sometimes I will be a little entangled, but I will become very result-oriented and powerful when I encounter pressure. I think it is still accurate.
In the first month, I had a lot of background to understand, and many colleagues tried their best to help me, so I adapted quickly. Capgemini is an established consulting company, which is well-known in the European market, but relatively low-key in the China market. Before I joined, I saw and heard a lot of negative comments about Capgemini on the Internet, which inevitably made me a little uneasy. In fact, every team has similar problems, but everyone basically does not respond to negative information. The works here are a little "curly", but they are more real.
I came to Shenyang for the first time after May Day. From the moment I set foot in Shenyang, I liked this northeastern city very much. As I wrote in Shengjing. Winter: Historically, the rise of a town is inevitable, or a town gradually formed due to natural resources, traffic fortress or strategic location. From a small border town, Shenyang experienced more than two thousand years of ups and downs, developed into the capital before the Qing Dynasty entered the customs, and finally established its position as a central city in Northeast China.
We will build Capgemini's largest land delivery center in China in Shenyang, which is also the core of Capgemini's Northeast strategy. I joined the company largely because I had the opportunity to set up a large R&D center and put many of my ideas into practice-these ideas stem from my persistence in culture, my trust in my partners, and my responsibility and sincerity to the team. There is always some idealism in doing things. And these, in Wuhan a few years ago, did not have time to practice one by one.
In less than a year, the Shenyang team has grown from 50 to more than 300. In this process, we encountered many difficulties, but we gained more: mutual trust, the temperature of the team, the precipitation of business, technology and culture.
The first town hall was in May, and it was also the first time that we put forward "people-oriented, customer-centered, and delivery is king". This is because how to establish a highly responsive digital organization is the first problem we must think about. Later, I made a further interpretation of this: "people-oriented" is to strive to win the talent war and make talents a competitive advantage of the team; "Customer Center" aims to provide more excellent customers with digital services through professional business skills and cutting-edge technical knowledge, and realize the innovation of business model and user experience. "Delivery is king" is to continuously improve their professional ability and make the team "capable".
Many times, the connection between work is weak, and friends will gradually alienate. What makes me very grateful is that from the end of May, friends who have participated in * * * began to join the team one after another. Everyone believes that we can do something different together and re-establish a long-lost engineer culture-work professionally and be kind to people around us sincerely. Everyone's trust makes me full of confidence in the future, but I also feel pressure.
The next work is not easy, and it takes time to run in. Knowing more friends who are passionate about work and life makes me like this team more and more. But I also have helplessness ... many things have to be built from scratch, and many deep-rooted concepts hinder our communication and cooperation. Some people just think from their own perspective and gradually lose their responsibilities.
Every time I see an email about my resignation application, I feel anxious. I hope we can be more tolerant and caring to the partners we work with, don't judge a person too hastily, and don't give up a person too casually. I hope that in the process of growing up, everyone can take one more step instead of sticking to the rules. If everyone represents a circle, then our circles should cross each other.
By the time of 65438+February, everything gradually became orderly. Gathering Yang Can can produce flames, and gathering fingers can make a fist. We decided to start integrating North-South digital R&D teams. The teams in Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang, Shanghai, Kunshan and Guangzhou have more than 65,438+0,200 people. This is the first time I have managed a team of more than 1000 people, and my work has been enriched. With the increase of responsibility and pressure, I began to become less calm and sometimes even impatient. If you don't want to stick to the rules, you need to innovate. The team is thinking about two questions:
65438+February, I squeezed out two weeks of spare time to prepare for the national postgraduate exam. Sincerely, the harvest is good. Studying in Tsinghua University has always been my dream, and I am glad that my dream can come true.
In the following time, my work will mainly focus on these three things:
After a short period of confusion, once the follow-up ideas are sorted out, my heart will be much calmer.
Since 2022, in order to maintain continuous sensitivity to business, I have led the scheme design and bidding of several projects. There are winners and losers, but the result itself is not the most important. What is more important is a deep understanding and careful analysis of the business.
After March 2022, a new round of epidemic swept through Shanghai, Shenyang and other cities. Everyone's work and life are inevitably affected. I think, as a responsible team, we should not only have the courage of "running water first", but also insist on "science and technology is good".
Water can change with the terrain. No matter where it flows, it will not change the environment, but only itself. Mr IP Man, a teacher who teaches Bruce Lee Wing Chun, often tells him, "Relax and calm down. Forget about yourself, follow your opponent's actions, let your mind not be disturbed by any thoughts, stay calm and fight back instinctively. The most important thing is to learn to be detached. " We all need this water-like "transcendental" mentality, as well as "continuous" motivation and courage-the so-called "running water first".
We need to think about how digital applications can help more people besides being convenient for ourselves. Especially those vulnerable groups, how to make them live better? How to make our software research and development conform to ethics, refuse to invade privacy, and then create greater social value-this is the meaning of "good technology".
Years later, we will be grateful for all these experiences.
