Abstract: Basketball is very popular in China. It is not only one of the main contents of physical education in vocational middle schools, but also one of the most popular sports activities for students after class. This paper summarizes and analyzes various teaching means and methods of basketball teaching, and puts forward some matters needing attention in teaching, so as to provide reference for improving basketball teaching level.
I. Introduction
Basketball learning can cultivate students' good qualities such as unity and cooperation, collective spirit of mutual cooperation, courage and tenacity, wit and decisiveness. Basketball learning can enhance the contact and communication between students, eliminate the tense learning atmosphere and loneliness, and promote people's social communication ability and cooperation ability. Students have a strong interest in basketball and high enthusiasm. In classroom teaching, most students hope to improve their basketball skills through teachers' teaching. However, due to the constraints of venues, equipment, class hours and teachers' teaching methods, the quality and effect of basketball teaching are limited.
Second, the research of basketball teaching methods and means
1. Practice means and methods of basketball familiarity
In basketball teaching, it is necessary to arrange exercises to familiarize students with the ball. The purpose is to make students understand the characteristics of basketball, improve their perception of the shape, weight and elasticity of the ball, improve the rhythm and control ability of the ball, and strengthen the control ability of the ball's motion curve, performance and landing point. Improve the sense of the ball through a series of exercises familiar with the sense of the ball. Through the practice of being familiar with the ball, improve students' ability and skills to control the ball. In teaching, we put the familiar ball exercises mostly in the preparation part before class, that is, after doing exercises, and sometimes in the interval of intensive exercises or the final relaxation activities, so as to strengthen the control of students' hands on the ball and lay a good foundation for the next basic basketball skills.
2. Improve students' technical level and tactical awareness through diversified means and games.
Basketball technology is rich in content, including dribbling, passing and catching, shooting and rebounding. It is also the focus of teaching and assessment. Only when students have certain basketball skills can they play all kinds of basketball games and competitions. In the past teaching, we found that students have different views on the learning and training of basic skills, and think that single technical training is boring and they like basketball games and games. In view of students' psychology, teachers should teach through various games to improve students' learning enthusiasm. You can use the ever-changing dribbling practice. Secondly, the practice methods of basketball skills are arranged into antagonistic games according to the degree of difficulty, so that students can master the basic skills easily and skillfully in the process of the game.
3. Improve students' awareness of basketball tactics.
Basketball tactics are the rational use of players' personal skills, the organizational form of players' cooperation in practice and competition, and the important means to restrict opponents and win the game. Therefore, in tactical teaching, help students to establish a complete tactical concept, let them know the basic characteristics of the tactical system, the purpose of tactical application and the contradiction between offensive and defensive tactics, and teachers can explain and demonstrate the offensive or defensive tactics of the team in detail, such as station formation, moving route, main cooperation methods, cooperative actions of peers, changing rules and so on. Tactics class is changed from explanation and demonstration to local tactical cooperation, then divided into teaching and then back to the whole team tactics. On this basis, the students' tactical awareness is strengthened by means of competition.
4. Basketball teaching assessment methods should be rationalized.
Basketball technical examination is an important means to test students' technical level. Whether the examination standard is fair and the content is reasonable directly affects the initiative and enthusiasm of students. Because the basketball level of the classmates is uneven. It is very important to formulate reasonable assessment standards. Therefore, when making basketball assessment methods, the method of combining reaching the standard with technical evaluation is adopted, and the evaluation of learning process is considered. Finally, it is determined that the achievement of reaching the standard accounts for 50% of the score, the technical evaluation score accounts for 30%, and the usual attendance and performance account for 20%. The overall level of students in recent years has been taken into account when formulating the standards, and most students can reach the standards through practice. Technical evaluation belongs to subjective evaluation, which mainly reflects the correctness, accuracy, coordination and aesthetic feeling of students' mastery of technical actions. By formulating a reasonable assessment method for basketball teaching, there are objective assessment, subjective technical assessment and team and individual learning process assessment, which is conducive to mobilizing students' initiative and enthusiasm in learning, enriching students' understanding of basketball, and improving students' cooperative spirit, self-exercise ability, participation awareness and exercise habits.
5. Feedback and correction should be made in time during the teaching process.
In the teaching process, teaching and learning interact with each other. Through conscious observation, questioning, inspection and other methods, teachers constantly discover the problems existing in students' learning process, understand their learning difficulties and acceptance, and thus adjust their teaching process and teaching methods. 6. Carry out extracurricular basketball activities, so that in-class and out-of-class teaching and practice are organically linked.
As the school has classes once a week, it is far from enough for students. Therefore, we also set up basketball knowledge lectures, online basketball knowledge questions and answers, basketball referee training, and organized class basketball competitions in the whole hospital. Through these forms of activities, interested students can enrich their basketball knowledge, improve their basketball skills, and organically link teaching and practice in and out of class.
Third, matters needing attention in basketball teaching
1. Implement the teaching principle of safety first.
Basketball is a competitive event that confronts each other on the same field. There will be fierce physical confrontation in class and competition, which will easily cause various injuries to the body. Especially in ordinary middle schools, limited by funds, many venues are still hard cement floors, and fierce competitions and confrontations sometimes cause fractures, contusions and even shock. Secondly, students are young and energetic, and their sports skills are rough and irregular, which is easy to cause quarrels, disputes and fights. Because in classroom teaching, all kinds of injuries not only hurt students' body and mind, but also belong to teaching accidents, which is also great for teacher personal influence. Therefore, in all aspects of teaching, teachers should strengthen teaching management, design and arrange personnel arrangement, referees and competition rules in advance, and take safety precautions to prevent unnecessary injury accidents.
2. Give full play to the educational function of basketball, and pay attention to strengthening and upgrading students' internal conditions such as outlook on life, values and physical and mental health.
