1. Introduction of computer color matching theory Computer color matching equipment is a combination of visible light spectrophotometer, computer and color matching software.

Color matching software

Color matching software consists of color quality detection software and color matching software, and its main function is to establish a basic color database for storage. When in use, first determine the primary color and color masterbatch, then input the spectral reflectance curve of each color masterbatch, and then adjust the color according to the input data. That is to say, the newly bought color matching software can't match colors, so before the color matching software can match colors with the input color number data, the color number of pigments must be input into the color matching system. Therefore, the accuracy of computer color matching depends not only on the quality of color matching software, but also on the accuracy of input data.

2. The basic principle of computer color matching In computer color matching, the computer is actually a large-scale color paint formula database, which can store the standard formulas of several color paints and the serial numbers of standard color paints. Both monochrome paint numbers and multicolor paint numbers can be input into the computer for users to color. When a certain color of automobile topcoat needs to be blended, the color number can be input into the computer first, and the topcoat formula and dosage ratio of the color number can be displayed on the screen, and then the desired topcoat color can be obtained by blending according to these data. There are thousands of colors of coatings, which can fully meet the needs of automobile manufacturing and automobile maintenance.

When the car is sent to the repair shop, some body paint will be painted on some parts. If the repair shop has the same label of paint, it can be used directly; If not, you can enter this label into your computer. The composition and weight of each monochromatic paint constituting this multicolor paint can be displayed on the fluorescent screen. According to its composition and weight, we can get the paint with the required color.

3. The characteristics of computer color matching Using computer color matching has the following characteristics.

1) color matching is accurate, fast and efficient, which saves the repair time of automobile topcoat and improves the repair quality of topcoat.

2) Computer color matching must reserve a certain number of color paint formulas and color numbers of various specifications and varieties. If the quantity and variety specifications are insufficient, it will be difficult to accurately prepare the paint with the required color as required.

3) The quality of all kinds of digital coatings purchased must be strictly guaranteed. If the quality is not good, you can't use the computer to adjust the ideal color.

4) Monochrome coatings should be stored and placed according to color codes, so as to be standardized and customized to prevent mistakes.

5) Paint without standard color number is not suitable for computer color matching.

4. The operation process of computer paint mixing is to determine the paint color variety of the roof paint to be repaired. Generally, there are the following situations: some topcoats of modern limousines are marked with paint numbers, and some can find the material, variety and specification of topcoats from the maintenance manual; If there is no record, the last method is to use the color code card for determination.

Color card is a kind of specially printed paint color card, which is made according to its color variety and different chromaticity of the same variety. Mark the number on the card, and each color card number is a symbol of color paint.

A kind of purple paint with different shades, 30lA5 has the lightest hue and 30lHl has the deepest hue. There is a round hole in the middle of each square color. When identifying automobile topcoat, first visually inspect the color card similar to automobile topcoat. Then spread the color card on the surface of the car body, expose the paint color of the car body from the round hole in the middle of the color card block, find out the one that is closest to or even exactly the same as the color card, and then determine that the top coat of the car is the color card represented by that number.

If the measured number of automobile topcoat is 30 1 A5, and there is no ready-made paint in the topcoat, input the code into the computer. The formula for displaying 30 1A5 on the computer screen is as follows: 956 is 179.9g, 744 is 1.5g, 957 is 7 1.8g, 666 is 8 1.5g and 333 is/kloc. Stir evenly with manual machinery, adjust to the required concentration according to the construction requirements, and complete the preparation of color paint.

Using computer color matching can make the color matching of automobile topcoat simple and accurate. The quality of digital pigments purchased must be strictly guaranteed. In addition, although there are many varieties and specifications of color paints used, the quantity of each specification is very small, because maintenance and mass production are different.
