Refractory brick masonry: a soldier guarding high-temperature industrial furnaces
Refractory bricks are warriors guarding high-temperature industrial furnaces, and when building this warrior, the technical requirements should not be sloppy at all! Before laying, it is necessary to make preparations to ensure that the safety training of masonry personnel is in place, the construction equipment is ready, and the water and electricity are smooth. Next, we will carry out construction according to the following requirements.

Measure accurately and check the size

Before laying, according to the design requirements, the measurement should be accurate, the center and elevation of the furnace should be set out, and the dimensions and related elevations of each part of the masonry should be checked.

Staggered masonry, pointing full.

Refractory brick masonry should be staggered, mud in brick joints should be full, and the surface should be pointing. Dry masonry, except as specified in the design, is generally filled with dry refractory powder.

Alignment of wooden hammer and rubber hammer

You can't chisel bricks on refractory brick masonry. When laying bricks, align the wooden hammer with the rubber hammer. Don't knock on the masonry when the mud is dry.

The machined surfaces of the bricks face the furnace respectively.

The machined surfaces of the bricks face the inner surface of the furnace and the furnace trough or expansion joint respectively.

Step fork

When bricklaying is interrupted or reworked, trapezoidal ramps need to be made.

Sit in the right position and build

Composite brick should be built according to its assembled inner diameter, size and elevation.

Prevent from getting wet

Fire-resistant masonry and thermal insulation masonry should be protected from moisture from construction to production.
